Tilly was professionally started under saddle in April 2019 and continued light work for a few months before being turned out for a spell. She’s very recently returned to work with trainer to continue her education. Low fuss mare. Basics established. Good and naturally willing stop. Not bothered by the whip, goes through gates, over poles and trots with a bag/swag around a barrel etc Very well handled and travelled. Works well in an undercover arena. He’s just turned 6.5months and was weaned just 4 weeks prior to the show. We’re very happy with how he handled himself. He stood patiently by the ring and trotted out beautifully for the judge. ... 06.01.2022 SOLD. What better way to spend a drizzly QLD day then out in the rain taking photos Photos current, March 2018. Lace has an absolutely gorgeous nature and is very well handled. She is excellent to rug, pickup feet etc. Stands well for hose down, wash, groom, tie-up and farrier trims. ... Her Dam ‘Topshelf Black Satin’ is also a lovely natured mare that was successfully shown as a yearling to 3yo. Her Sire ‘Koorala Ace of Spades’ is a very successful led, challenge and futurity/maturity horse with natural ability on cattle. Unf. does have blemishes due to paddock injury. 05.01.2022 We’ve had pretty crazy winds here, thanks to ex-Cyclone Omar, but that didn’t stop me having a lovely session with this gorgeous little lady! The lesson included having all 4 legs handled and picked-up followed by a her first hose down. She wasn’t a fan of the strong wind blowing the water into her pretty face (understandably as neither was I!!) yet she stood there and copped it anyway. ... EvansPark Amulet - HSH (now just over 4months old) has such a willing attitude to learning new things. She really is a pleasure to work with!

04.01.2022 Horse float panels for sale. $400 for the set. I purchased these with intentions of using overnight at shows but never got around to mounting them on my float. Perfect for time away at clinics, shows, competitions and drafts etc! ... Super easy to assemble on your own as the 4 panels just pin together. The 4 panels measure just over approx 2m long x 1.2m high when packed/folded up (as pictured) When in use, the inside frame swings, extending to just under 4m, making a yard close to 4mx4m. Pickup either Redland Bay or Regency Downs.
04.01.2022 With the 3 sale boys having left for their new homes recently, it’s time I started putting some effort into handling the foals 1st up is EVANSPARK ELEGANCE (pending) aka ‘Ellie’. Today was her 3rd halter lesson, first hard tie and first bubble bath. As you can see, she handled it like a pro ... She’ll be 5months old this week - time fly’s!!
03.01.2022 "He needs to be more resilient" you cry ...well listen up I ask. This child is a farmers son, he has no choice, resilience runs through his blood. He's raised a...nd lost more pups than you have fancy shoes. He's cried himself to sleep at night after losing yet another one of his team. He's seen young calves mauled to bits by wild dogs and sadly loaded up his favorite steer, trucked away to become someone else's meal. He's had to say his last goodbyes to special steads that have carried him safely over rough terrain. Falling off is not an option as he hears his father yell...hurrry up, get to the lead!! Drought brings an all new darkness to this young mans world as he listens to his father say once again..one day closer mate, I promise you rain is coming soon. You say he needs more resilience as he's told no holidays again this year. Sorry but it's just too dry to leave the herd like this but I promise you we'll try again next year when the rains are finally here. He may only be a child, yet needs to fill the place of a man, we're short a hand again today, so go saddle up a safe nag. This "more resilience" you speak of is well and truly there, sorry you can't see it, maybe it's hard to see past the glare of those fancy city shoes you wear. I'd rather see him laugh and play, be a kid for the days he has left before he needs to take his fathers place and show the world the depth of resilience he has left. Alison Ahern
03.01.2022 Evanspark Royal Charmer - HSH Sire: Ilalong Talisman - HSH Dam: Koorala Royal Rose - HSH Rocky (the Rockstar ) was weaned a couple of weeks ago. Today marks his 6month birthday and what better way to celebrated then with a weekend full of firsts ... He’s had the least handling of all the foals and has really blown me away with his willingness and progression in just 48hours. The weekend involved a full bath, several decent tie sessions, a float loading lesson ..that ended with a float trip to the shops and back (as you do ), hogged mane and his first rug.
