These are the first draughts of my cakes and they get tweaked before release, slight changes to flavour, thicker or thiner layers, that kind if thing, depending on balance. When it comes to my cakes that leads to days like yesterday where I try 6 different ways to get the look I want on the Christmas Baubles for YOUR Christmas Cake. 5 tries with results progressively getting better and better until on number 6 we got a winner, winner, chicken dinner! CHECK THIS BEAUTY OUT!!! I'm still going to make the glaze better, this was just a proof of concept!

Couple of things for our new friends so we are all caught up: 1) It really is just me, Brian, Eva's Dad, working from home and doing my best to make you the best cakes I can. 08.01.2022 Guess who turned 10! Eva (yes THAT Eva) got to double digits yesterday and a more wonderful little monkey I couldn't ask for. Celebrated with a day off, Hunter Valley Zoo and a big box of Cocoa Nib chocolates, dessert at Sabor Dessert Bar and a doughnut from Doughheads. A few of her favorite things.
