18.01.2022 Only two weeks until the end of the year for Evening care and then we will be shut down till the end of January (the Day service at the Centre remains open). So if you are needing a night without ‘helpful’ hands to shop of wrap presents for festivities, wanting to do some overtime at work to catch up before taking holidays, or go out with friends and work colleagues to celebrate the end of the year, call to book your children.

16.01.2022 We had a wonderful evening of hiding and seeking on Friday night. Children explored outside completing an alphabet scavenger hunt, they played hide and seek, followed a trail of riddles and clues and created decorated rocks to hide out in the community. Look out for them. Decorating rocks was a favorite activity, I think we will be doing it again. #eveningnight #childcare #paintedrocks

10.01.2022 What a fun night we had tonight. We found a few painted rocks hidden in the room, left overs from last weeks Hide and Seek night. This lead into a searching game outside as the children took turns hiding the rocks and giving clues of hotter/colder as the seekers got close to the rocks. Sensory experiences have been popular lately so we got out something new. Fake snow! It was interesting to feel that it was actually cold, lots of discussion about why, evaporation of water!... Then the children experimented with adding more and more water to the mixture. It became moldable then slushy! It was a very popular activity and held everyone’s attention for about and hour!! Children also build wonderful creations from poly-m and duplo, taught each other how to make loom bands and looked after dolls and had tea parties in the home corner. 10.01.2022 Next Friday is our monthly fun night. This month in celebration of all that’s happening in Adelaide at the moment (Fringe, Womad) we will be holding a performance night. We will set the stage for all children to be up on stage or be part of production team as we perform for each other.

03.01.2022 One of our Educators are a collection point for this group, who are helping to re-establish gardens in the fire affected areas of the hills. If you have excess plants, pots, potting mix or plants you would like to take cuttings from, contact a collection point near you or bring into the Centre and we will get them to the collection point.
