25.01.2022 Run Sheets For Success Your run sheet is your no.1 document to streamline our webinar, communicate with your team and ensure a successful webinar. A webinar is different to a live event, there are more options for engagement and more engagement is needed to keep your audience attention. During a webinar we need to engage all the senses and think about the different learning styles: Auditory, Visual, Digital, Kinaesthetic. Each of these must be embedded into the run sheet a...nd have someone in your team allocated to looking after them. So, if you’re wondering what should you include in your run sheet. Here is your brief outline to webinar success! Part 1 - The Devil’s In The Details: Provide all the details about your webinar, your contributors and all relevant links. The title of the webinar Time and Date of the webinar Contact details of all contributors including their name, phone number and role The link to the live stream ie. Zoom link Links to workbooks, feedback form and anything else you may want to share with your audience Part 2 - Blow by blow of the Run-sheet: Timings of all session broken down into start time, run time, end time. This can be done with a simple formula in a spreadsheet or manually Actions, break down exactly what is happening in this section ie. Set up, Start, Welcome, Topics, Chat with participants, Q&A, Networking and add a short overview of the topics discussed Owner, allocate the person responsible for delivering each section ie. Welcome - MC, Topic - Speaker A, Chat - Person allocated to chat AV, what music will play when (ideally create a playlist on Spotify) Notes - any additional notes for the person allocated to the task The run sheet is your live action plan. Getting this right will support you and your contributors: team, speakers, AV to have clarity on everything that will go on during your webinar. 11.01.2022 How to get mentally and physically ready to deliver a LIVE online event! Let’s face it, the world has changed. The world of events has been hit HARD but not all is lost. It’s possible to take your in-person LIVE event to an online LIVE event.... Here are 7 tips on how you too can get mentally and physically ready to deliver a LIVE online event: 1. Trust that you know your content and let go of any uncertainty. You are the BEST person to facilitate/deliver the upcoming event. 2. Let go of the imposter syndrome. Use whatever techniques work for you to flip your insecurities. Meditation, exercise, visualisation, positive self talk... choose your medicine. 3. Create the best version of you. Shower, do your hair, put on makeup (if that’s part of your routine), get dressed for success (however that looks for you, make sure it reflects your brand. You will feel great if you look great. 4. Set up your equipment. Lighting that faces you and lights up your face. Position your camera at face height. Set up your mic (if you’re using one). 5. Know how to use the tech. The online platform, your computer, how to navigate multiple devices/screens, how to share your screen, your presentation and your sound/music. 6. Set up your background. Whether you’re using a virtual background or a physical background make sure it’s curated to supply your delivery. 7. Stand up to deliver. Standing up when you’re delivering your content makes you look good, gives you more freedom to express yourself through body language. BONUS: Get excited!
