21.01.2022 Borders are opening and we are off to Tassie in March to do first aid for Gone Nuts 101 a great trail running event between Stanley and Wynyard. The March 2020 event was the last event we did before coronavirus shut everything down (a case was found at the Launceston Woollies a day after our crew food shop...). A week later we saw nearly a year's worth of bookings evaporate. It's fantastic to be heading out again - we look forward to seeing hundreds of trail runners enjoying the tough trails along the north coast!

20.01.2022 A great article about the Big Red Bash in today's Australian newspaper. ESS does the logistics, event management, vols management, compost loos, radio network, safety, trucks, liquid transfers, catering gear and more. https://www.theaustralian.com.au//f34f064b5f158ab72111bfa6

19.01.2022 The Australian Mass Participation Sporting Events Alliance was formed in May 2020 and looks like a good way for sporting event organisers to have representation. I signed up as a supporter. https://www.ampsea.com.au/

17.01.2022 Planning with some of the crew for Six Foot Track Marathon, Australia's oldest big trail run. Meeting John, Rod and Nick to plan vehicle movements for the support 4WDs. And last night met some of the RFS crew from the Katoomba/Leura unit to get organised for the First Aid Station at Coxs River. It's always great to work on this event that brings together the Blue Mountains RFS units with the local community plus the keen runners from Sydney Striders who organise the run. Can't wait for 13th March. Fingers crossed it isn't too hot and humid.

12.01.2022 ESS NOW OFFERING CONTRACTING SERVICES With Covid-19 causing the cancellation of most of our event work for the next few months we are branching out into general contracting work, transport and moving. Check our new page. http://www.eventsafetyservices.com.au/ess-contracting/

10.01.2022 We are busy working with the Six Foot Track Marathon committee on the final details for this well known and epic trail run. It's been going since 1984 but this year has been the most effort ever for organisers with COVID plans and everything that's going on. ESS provides the medical centres, doctors, nurses and first aiders at the Finish and at Five Mile, plus a number of first aid stations on the course. We also oversee the coordination of evacuations if anything goes wrong... for any of the runners, safety and risk consulting during the planning and preparation for heat mitigation if it ends up a hot and humid day. The committee are all volunteers and they have done lots of "hard yards" this year to make it all happen - it's great to be part of this fantastic event. The pic shows the 2019 crowded start - in 2021 there will be a steady stream of runners crossing the start timing mats at nicely spaced intervals from Explorers Tree. See more

09.01.2022 A nice memory of work in a special place. ESSprovided the crew and special equipment for a film crew capturing a VR journey inside Claustral Canyon, Blue Mountains.

05.01.2022 Back in business. ESS has been back doing first aid for school sport days for a couple of weeks now. It's beautiful day in Wentworth Falls but sadly parents and spectators aren't permitted. We are using Covid-safe first aid procedures to keep everyone safe. The kids are loving the opportunity to get active again.

05.01.2022 Now offering spiritual guidance and installation . Yesterday we helped PJH Contracting to lift a custom-made Torii Gate into position. Years of tranquillity and inner peace are sure to follow.

04.01.2022 Yay!! Running Wild NSW run fantastic events and we are stoked to be involved in providing first aid services, a radio repeater network and safety and risk advice for the awesome Solitary event.
