17.01.2022 TODAY I LEARNT: a few years ago Melbourne city assigned each of its trees it very own email address.... Just let the awesomeness of that sentence sink in. The reason they did this was so people could email about damage, dangerous limbs etc while allowing the council to know the exact tree being discussed. As the article attached shows, there was an unintended, yet quite beautiful, side effect to assigning each tree its own personal mailbox... They started to received love let...ters! Like, lots and lots of them! And it wasn't just local citizens declaring their love of the trees and sharing their inner most secrets, even OTHER TREES were getting in on the action. We would like to say a big thank you to all of the helpers who have come through at short notice to be a part of the team helping Brisbane get cleaned up. Also a huge thank you to all the clients who have patiently waited while their jobs have been postponed until after the madness.
