24.01.2022 REDUCE Here's a handy hint: if you host parties and events regularly, build up a collection of servingware, tableware, decorations and other styling products in all white. This then forms the base of your event styling, and you add in colours, prints and themes in addition to the white base to create the unique look for each event! Glass items also blend well with many, many themes and styles, so this is another great staple to build up in your event supplies! The benefit of doing this is you don't need to buy disposable items in your colour theme for every event, saving both your money and our planet!

Through education, supply of reusable hire items, and the development of new reusable options to replace single use items, I hope to make a significant impact on the volume of waste disposed of after parties and events. Do you have any tips on how to reduce waste at celebrations?

A beautiful friend of mine says she always needs "one more hour" to finish her party setups before the start time, but she always manages to pull it off without quite enough time ;)

13.01.2022 What's your favourite eco-swap? Buying good quality reusable items saves hundreds of their single-use items being disposed of, over the lifespan of the reusable item! We have straws, drink bottles, coffee cups and cutlery so far. But how cool is this reusable lidded cup that's perfect for smoothies, juices or bubble teas! It's exciting seeing so many innovations hitting the market!

04.01.2022 I love the visual impact of these handmade paper flowers. I can see them setting the scene at lots of different parties and events. And afterwards, they can be used as bedroom décor, or carefully stored for future events!

04.01.2022 My first commissioned theme is well underway.... can you guess what it is? It might not be quite as obvious as you think. And why is that? This reusable backdrop is far more useful if it can be styled to suit more than one theme! Just off the top of my head, this banner could suit a sprinkles theme, a sweet shoppe theme and a donut theme. Can you think of any other themes that this banner could work with? Eco parties don't need to look nature based, and have Kraft brown paper everywhere. The true essence of an eco party is one that has no negative impact on the environment. And that can be achieved in fun, colourful ways!

01.01.2022 Who else is an environmentalist? I'm not your cliché activist, out there making waves and being heard in loud ways, trying to save the world. But I'm still an environmentalist. I live my life actively being gentle to our planet, and I'm always evolving and improving my environmental footprint, whenever my ability and budget allows. Environmentalism is a lifelong journey that I am committed to, for the sake of our future generations.
