25.01.2022 We continue our Central Australian Discovery. Day 3 & 4 of our adventure we left the city behind for the Flinders Ranges and the outback. We visited the wine growing region of the Clare Valley with a stop at a local winery to try their famous Riesling wines. It almost looked and felt like regional France with some of the vineyards and architecture. That afternoon we continued north. Passing through Peterborough and Orroroo, after which we saw the beginnings of the beautiful...ly coloured ridges of the Flinders Ranges. Next along was Wilpena Pound. We did enjoy the 4wd tour & stories & highly recommend the optional flight over Wilpena Pound. WOW This majestic natural Amphitheatre is a lost world inside a giant stone crater.
