24.01.2022 We have done it again... As our two existing SIL houses begin to fill, the management team at Everyday Ability decided we had the capacity to open a third. If you are interested in this fully accessible house located in a quiet street in wadalba please reach out to our team .

24.01.2022 As we continue to grow we already have 2 SIL houses setup with another one on the way. Currently we have 2 SIL vacancies which we are looking to fill. The vacancies are to match with: - Male only 19yr old ASD male ... Our participant enjoys a nice quiet household and would love to share with someone active and likes to be out and about, but who is also quiet at home - Property located at Berkely Vale - Swimming pool and large backyard/entertaining area - Sleepover shift - Female or Male 58yr old Female with Alzheimer's & Dementia - Someone who enjoys movies (particularly musicals) and can enjoy their own space within the house - Large property located at Wamberal, just a few mins walk from the beach - Large yard and outdoor decking area to sit in the sun and enjoy a cup of tea - Must be mobile as the shower is over bath - Active Overnight shift.

23.01.2022 At everyday ability we have a passion for ensuring that all people with disabilities are treated with dignity and respect. We recently shared this passion specifically mentioning the LGBTQIA+ community and have received a number of messages from people sharing their stories. 20.01.2022 12 Months ago the four founders of Everyday ability met for dinner to discuss what it would be like to start our own provider. That night we made the decision to start the process and begin getting prepared for our NDIS registration. It was the first of many late nights spent excitedly planning our futures before finally applying for registration this year. This picture shows the four of us on that night one year ago, excited and hopeful that we could create an experience for our participants that was diverse and special. We have never looked back...

19.01.2022 We had a great time getting our second house set up. A big thanks to Sandra and Beau from Halli Pty Ltd did an amazing job making it sparkling clean and to Troy from T.G & Sons Funky Removals for getting all our furniture in safe and sound at the last minute.

Asperger’s Day aims to highlight the significance of Asperger syndrome in relation to autism spectrum and the impact of this on individuals living with the condition. 10.01.2022 Since receiving our NDIS registration we have received a huge amount of support from the community. From providers wanting to work with us to Support Workers wanting to work for us (and the amazing ones who already do) it has been astounding to see such commitment to participants and to each other and we are excited to see what the future holds. We aren't open just yet but we are nearly ready to go and are so excited to share this adventure with our staff and participants. Keep an eye out for some of the programs we are working on for the new year...

07.01.2022 Another staff orientation done and dusted this week bringing our total number of support workers up to 16. We are excited about the team we have built and cant wait to share our journey with them.

Whether that be fathers, grandfathers, uncles or influential men in their lives. We would also like to acknowledged all the amazing mums that provide the love, care and support to their children when their are no men in their lives. We hope this day is filled with laughter and love from your nearest and dearest.... Thank you, all for your amazing ongoing support.

04.01.2022 Hi Guys, We have a 58 year old participant coming in for Short Term Accommodation for the month September and would love to find someone to come and enjoy a hol...iday at the Entrance with her. We have been through the NDIS Audit process but are still waiting on our registration number so would need to be someone who is Self Managed or Plan Managed. 03.01.2022 Had a great day inducting 4 new amazing staff members into our service. We especially loved making our own wood fired pizza for lunch.

03.01.2022 Today marks 6 months since we received our NDIS registration. We celebrated with a Team Leader Training day and an air hockey tournament with some of our Day Program participants and staff.... it’s safe to say we LOVE our jobs

03.01.2022 EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT ALERT!!! Now that we have moved into our office in Wyong we are super excited to announce our community program launching from 11th January 2021. Our program coordinator has been busy putting together some fantastic programs for participants to enjoy. We are pretty happy with what she has planned so far but this is just the beginning so keep an eye out for further updates....
