21.01.2022 Woo hoo, race time this weekend. I will be racing for 24hr across Kayaking, Trekking and MTB with 3 legends, Shaun Jackson Nikki Giles and Peter Hopwood. 18.01.2022 Tonight 18/5 I did the Torwood orienteering in and around Auchenflower. There was a time limit to rank but I had no interest in sticking to that, my only goal was to clear the course. I had a great time cruising the streets doing some night nav training and there were some good hills too.

04.01.2022 Yesterday Craig Keeling, Shaun Jackson, Peter Hopwood and Nikki Giles teamed up for the Rogue Raid 24hr adventure race which is part of the A1 National Adventure Racing series. We almost didn't make it to the start line as a complete team with Shaun having a huge crash on his bike about 6 weeks out and almost needing surgery. Before the crash we had high aspersions of doing extremely well at the race, with having a huge advantage with the race being on Shaun's home turf and h...aving Super Pete with his paddling petagree. We still thought we would do well, we just had to manage Shaun's leg well and not push it to hard. This race is the hardest Rogue Raid that we have done, that second paddle was brutal. This race format is great as you get to see the top teams on course. This team is the best team I (Craig) have raced with. Everyone showed the true meaning behind what a team sport should be like. The comradery and get the job done attitudes was awesome. With the closing of the boarders and all the top notch southern teams not being able to make it we were still in for a shot to do well. After racing 185km across Kayaking, Running and MTB we finishing 3rd overall. Extremely happy with the result. Great result, great team and great teamwork, I would most certainly race with these 3 again. Well I hope to be racing with Shaun and Nikki for Godzone in March 2021 if the race goes ahead. I hope Pete will come join us too
