20.01.2022 First off in our Meet the Team series - meet Jess Williams, one of our Every Family Officers! Hi, I'm Jess. I'm part of the Every Family team and am based in the Atherton office. I have qualifications in marketing, psychology and (primary) teaching. I love sharing information with parents and empowering them as their child's first teacher. The best part of my role is helping parents build strong and secure relationships with their children through Circle of Security Paren...ting. This program has changed my own parenting and I love sharing it with others! Jess has also been in the role of Student Wellbeing Officer at Herberton State School P-10 throughout 2020 where she has been supporting students and their families. 11.01.2022 Cassowary Coast it's Tilapia Tournament time! The Tournament starts today and finishes on Sunday 27th of September. The Council will permit fishing in Warrina Lakes between 8am and 4pm, and provide a measuring station for competitor catches to be captured. A daily Lucky Lake prize will be randomly awarded for each registered competitor, and the week will culminate with the ‘Tilapia Tamer’ awards which will be presented to those who have caught the most fish, and the larg...est fish.
