16.01.2022 The EBM e36 M3 is now in the panel shop getting a lot of work done. First strip the car down to get a proper respray, not a dodgy like the one previously done. Bridgens found this when stripping the skirts off. Check the side sill. Not sure which previous owner did this, but they certainly made sure enough selastic was on the skirt to hide the dent in the sill. Looks like we have worked out why the rear axle isn't straight and the chassis is out of square. Previous owner ra...n out of talent and has wiped out the left side. I reckon the dude has done a trade course on how to apply selastic. Full confidence with Dean at Bridgens Restorations as they are experts at this. They arent your common smash repairer, they just do restos. In the shop at the moment are Monaros, A9x, Alfa Romeos , BMW E9, XU1,s Cobra Falcon, plus heaps of other classics. Even a VW Combie.

06.01.2022 The EBM3 is almost done. It has taken a while to get the final touches complete, but finally got the new exhaust system started, with a little fine tuning to get the drone eliminated and keep it legal. Stainless welded seem Muffler with two resonators so far. Old dodgy brothers system was a few dissimilar pipes of various sizes onto some hot dogs and a dodgy muffler. Performance was woeful. New system has definitely improved the idle and low down performance then revs cl...ean easy up to the 7k redline. We are putting some metal CATS in it, to help with the drone, plus get it legal for emissions. So a little fine tuning and it should sound good. Once we get this sorted, we will be producing this system as a straight bolt on kit for the e36 M3 and will be full stainless, mandrel bend. Price to be confirmed when we have it all sorted. 04.01.2022 I have been quiet for a while, with the rebuild of the M3 due to completing my Commercial pilots license. So now we have that almost out of the way, we are back into the restoration. The car is a complete mess. Pulling it apart, we found parts held in with cable ties, wire and silicone. It was in a crash sometime in its life, so the repairer or dodgy brothers inc, didn't replace many of the parts, just fitted them back in and fixed them with wire or glue. One of the engi...ne mounts was completely gone on the sub-frame so it was rubbing on the chassis. The bumper bar assembly had numerous broken plastic pieces, plus missing nearly all ducking and heating protection. Who needs that stuff anyway!? So now the car is ready to head to Bridgens Restorations for a chassis straighten and a proper respray. The engine is in for a bottom end bearing replacement and cam checkup, plus a good look at. Many new parts have arrived. Complete new aircon system, new cooling system, power steer, plus a heap of new plastic parts that have snapped or deteriorated. Most genuine BMW. All these we supply through EBM I hope to have it back on the road in October.
