We're always up for talking escape rooms so it was such fun sharing our passion with them. 21.01.2022 We're opening again on Friday 12 June, exciting news for anyone who just can't get enough of being stuck in rooms! We'll just be open Friday-Sunday at this stage, hopefully opening more days in the future. We do understand this pandemic is far from over, as are the changes to everyone's lifestyles. We are conscious of the remaining risks, and are following public health advice on how to safely operate our business. Our escape rooms have always been private experiences for you... and your teammates, and provide an opportunity for a unique social experience with minimal exposure to anyone outside your group. Just some of the adjustments we're making to be COVID-safe that you may notice if you've visited previously: - Obscura can still take 6 participants, while Secrets of the Jungle and Defusal have been reduced to a maximum of 4 participants each. - Timeslots have been spaced to allow extra cleaning time between sessions. - Waivers can now be completed online, this should be done before arrival on your own device. This will reduce your briefing time, getting you in the room faster and minimising your exposure to anyone outside of your team. - As was the case before our closure, hand sanitiser is available in reception. We require visitors to use this on arrival and highly recommend to use it again when leaving. - Puzzles in our rooms involving wearing items/extremely close inspection of items have been modified so these actions are no longer necessary. We really appreciate the support we've received over the past few months, whether it has been through Happy Hermits, buying vouchers or even asking when we'll be re-opening - it means a lot to know people want our escape rooms back and we can't wait to see your faces again!

21.01.2022 We're hosting another puzzle hunt to keep our minds active while socially distant! Evolo's Happy Hermits will provide regular (at this stage weekly) rounds of 5 puzzles, starting on Wednesday night at 7pm. No prizes for this puzzle hunt, we're playing for fun, and we are going with a pay-what-you-feel approach as an entry fee. Finances over the coming months are an issue for us, as they are for almost all small businesses in the world, however it's more important to us to get... as many people playing as possible. If you can spare a few dollars each round, we'd greatly appreciate it, however we fully understand that a lot of people can't right now. 20.01.2022 Final round of Happy Hermits will be tomorrow night! 50 puzzles ago, we wouldn't have believed that we'd still have so many teams jumping on and hitting refresh on our website in the middle of June - it has been humbling to see so many people enjoy the challenge. As a bonus tomorrow night, we've actually prepared one extra puzzle, the grand finale, which will be available to teams once they've completed all previous puzzles. 18.01.2022 Due to today's announcement from the Tasmanian Government on physical distancing, starting this Friday we will be able to take up to 6 participants in all three of our escape rooms again. Sincere thanks to groups who have been understanding of the need to adhere to this rule, we never like turning people away from our escape rooms and look forward to being able to host more of you now!

14.01.2022 An update in regards to the latest Federal Government measures in social distancing policies: - In order to ensure sufficient space per participant in our escape rooms, "Secrets of the Jungle" and "Defusal" have both had their capacity reduced to 4 participants. - "Obscura" will remain at 6 participants - Teams who have already booked exceeding any of these amounts this weekend will be contacted to discuss their options... We will continue to thoroughly disinfect rooms after use and encourage all participants to use our hand sanitiser gel both before and after their experience. Also a reminder if any participants in a group are unwell or have been asked to isolate, please stay home. We will be fully accommodating of participants and teams unable to make it. If you have played all of our rooms, you can still help by dropping in to buy a KeepCup. $16 each and 100% of KeepCup sales are being donated. 03.01.2022 At Evolo Room Escape we are very conscious of the growing threat of COVID-19 in Australia and would like to assure all potential participants in our escape rooms that we are working to ensure the health of our customers and staff. We have hand sanitiser gel in our reception that we encourage all participants to use before and after the experience, and are wiping down regularly handled items in the rooms in between experiences to minimise the risk of spreading germs. If you or... anyone in your team are feeling unwell or have been asked to isolate yourselves, please stay home.
