21.01.2022 Transformation Post Ahead Swipe 7kg gone ... My Nutrition client absolutely killed his 12 week fat loss phase! To say I’m proud would be an understatement. Good nutrition and hard work pays off. I’m so proud of my client who has been dedicated to his program since day one. Thank you for trusting me 100% and showing nothing but dedication. As the festive season is well and truly upon us it’s easy to lose sight of goals but if it’s important to you nothing will stand in your way. On to the next phase we go...it’s time to (bulk) so stay tuned because we aren’t done yet. 19.01.2022 As humans we like to over complicate things, especially when it comes to fat loss. Often choosing to believe that the newest concoction of detoxes or a new fad diet will get you to that dream body weight. Well I’m here to remind you that fat loss does not have to be complicated (it’s still hard work) and you don’t need to: Give up sugar to lose fat Give up carbs to lose fat... Go on a juice cleanse or any sort of ‘detox’ to lose fat Punish yourself at the gym for HOURS on end to lose fat. Instead, focus on: Eating well 80% of the time and enjoy food from ALL food groups (yes you can eat bread ). Stay in a calorie deficit. Move your body in a way you enjoy and make sure it’s something you will WANT to keep doing consistently. Do the simple things first before you over complicate the process and trust me you will be better off than if you decided to follow yet another fad diet. Do this for you. If you need help, feel free to contact me. I’m always here to help xx . . . . #fatloss #fatlosstips #keepitsimple #nofaddiets #ditchthefaddiets #dothisforyou #nutrtion #nutritionist #pt

17.01.2022 B R U N C H Seriously if I could choose one meal to eat everyday it would be brunch (I know I’m not the only one ). But can you go out to eat meals like this when your trying to lose fat? Yes you can and you definitely should.... Here are a few tips on what to look for when choosing from the brunch menu that will still keep you on track: Choose a good protein source like eggs, not only will they help keep you full but they are lower in calories than sausages and bacon Be conscious of your fat choices, for example if you order avocado then don’t add the halloumi. Remember, fat is higher in calories and adding extra sources of fat to your meal will drive up that overall calorie count. Eat until your full. I know we have all been taught to ‘finish what’s on your plate’ BUT eating until your ready to burst can leave you feeling bloated and uncomfortable and no one wants to feel that way especially when your out and about with friends/family Slow down when your eating, don’t scoff your food down, let your body digest the food your eating (I’m still learning to do this myself ). It takes about 20 minutes from the time you START eating for your brain to send signals it’s full. This will help you with not eating past the ‘full’ point. What’s your favourite thing to order for brunch? . . . . #nutrition #healthyeating #smallchangesovertimeaddup #brunch #healthybrunch #fatloss #fatlosstips #nutritionist #eatyourgreens #fit #fitness

12.01.2022 Chia seed puddings are my favourite mid morning snack Its such an easy and quick snack perfect for when I’m on the go. I made this baby last night before going to bed and just grabbed it out of the fridge and added blueberries and pumpkin seeds. 02.01.2022 How to get back on track after the holidays. After my last two posts I’ve had a few DM’s about how to get back on track without falling prey to fad diets/detoxes/cleanses. So I thought I would share a few simple things anyone can do. 1. Get organised. Making sure you pack your lunch and your snacks for work will mean your less likely to go down the street and order that burger or snack on the office chocolates.... 2. Fill your plate up with protein and veggies (plant based fibre). This will help keep you feeling fuller for longer and help curb those late afternoon sugar cravings. 3. Get active. Now I don’t mean join a gym and do endless cardio (unless that’s your thing ) Pick an activity that you enjoy doing and set aside a few times a week to move your body. You will feel so much better after a bit of physical activity, after all our bodies were meant to move. 4. Skip the ‘extras’ such as juices, sugar filled sauces, salad dressings and sweetened dried fruit as they are very high in calories and very easy to overconsume. 5. Be kind to yourself. A few days or weeks of overindulging can make anyone feel a bit guilty but honestly it doesn’t matter. It happens, let it go it’s a new day and beating yourself up about how much you ate isn’t going to help you reach your goal it can only make you feel worse and increase the chance of reaching for chocolate or chips to make yourself feel better. . . . . #getbackontrack #nutrition #healthyfood #healthyeating #weightloss #nofaddiets #eatyourgreens #eatforhealth #adelaidenutrition #adelaidenutritionist #moveyourbody See more
