19.01.2022 Join us tomorrow night for our second Sanctuary Circle for Womxn. As it will be the 26th of November - thanksgiving for our sisters in Canada and USA, our theme will be embracing GRATTITUDE. What are you truly grateful for? How do you embrace gratitude? In these challenging times, when unexpected setbacks are around every corner, gratitude is more important than ever. In this sharing circle we will explore gratitude and the ways that a gratitude practice can add joy, and ...resilience to your life. Research shows us that a daily gratitude practice leads to higher happiness scores and better mood overall. When you fill your cup with the feeling of gratitude, trying times become easier to bear. In our sharing circle, we create safer space to speak our truth about gratitude. We're not going to ask you to be grateful for anything you're not, or pressure you to "find a bright side" of anything. This circle is about pure, true gratitude and how to cultivate and embrace it

13.01.2022 Join myself and Alison from Blue Hour Recovery Coaching for our final circle for 2020! This weeks topic is: connection. With Christmas around the corner its a time where some of us may be feeling lonely and missing the connection of loved ones. Connection is the most vital aspect of our existence. It has the power to deepen the moment, inspire change and build trust. The need and importance for connection has been made evidently clear, this year as we have been forced to... live without it. We are biologically, cognitively, physically, and spiritually wired to love, to be loved, and to belong. When those needs are not being met, we don't function as we were meant to. So Let’s connect this Thursday evening Join us in this gathering of sisterhood and together we can support each other in a safe, nurturing space, where you will be seen & celebrated as you are https://www.facebook.com/groups/1490075254531223

11.01.2022 Today is my 4 year sober anniversary! As I continue to learn more about recovery, I am committing to bring more joyful interactions into my life and to work on the relationships that need work to increase the joy. Joy is an essential component of lasting recovery. Strong connections with others who are 'glad to be with us' are needed for our brains to develop and reach their full potential. Do your connections bring you joy and are you spending time with people who are glad to be around you? #4yearssober #recoveryjourney #dowhatbringsyoujoy #joyfulrecovery #sherecovers #sherecoverscoach #recoverycoach

08.01.2022 "I was still going to my new job; I was getting home safely, and I was having normal conversations with friends and colleagues." Addicted Australia participant Heidi shares her story.

07.01.2022 Self-care is often a very unbeautiful thing. It is making a spreadsheet of your debt and enforcing a morning routine and cooking yourself healthy meals and no longer just running from your problems and calling the distraction a solution. It is often doing the ugliest thing that you have to do, like sweat through another workout or tell a toxic friend you don’t want to see them anymore or get a second job so you can have a savings account or figure out a way to accept yoursel...Continue reading

07.01.2022 Happy summer solstice! I spent the day setting my intentions for this new era we're coming into, and sitting in the sunshine reading my new book. What soul quenching things did you get up to?

07.01.2022 Join us tomorrow evening as Alison from Blue Hour Recovery Coaching and I host our first womxn's circle. Whatever you're going through at this time, you're invited to this safe sanctuary as we share our experiences, listen and heal together.

06.01.2022 Looking forward to holding space with you tonight. You are welcome to come along, even if you dont feel like sharing

03.01.2022 , one of my biggest struggles since being sober has been 'recovering out loud'. Guilt and shame go hand in hand with addiction, but we often don't talk about the shame of being in recovery. I have realised that to deny that there is a period of time when the my pain was real, and when healing has to be a priority, is to deny an essential reality of my life. That’s when I started to use the word recovery again When I am open and honest about my recovery to people is when the real magic happens in my relationships and connections

02.01.2022 I've been spending this crazy year of lock down and restrictions, trying to discover what is important to me and what type of life I truly want to live. My family, health, study and real connections are the main things I am focusing on this year - all working towards a brighter, happier future.

02.01.2022 This Taking the first step can be terrifying, but nothing feels as good as being free. Cred Nothing But Kindness

01.01.2022 Less shame Less guilt More grace
