25.01.2022 I would like to inform you that we have recently changed our booking system from Mind Body to the locally owned company Nookal. This means that you will no longer be able to use Mind Body to make an appointment or book a class with us through their app. Don't worry though we also have Nookal available to use online and you can book through our website portal www.evolvebyronbay.com.au All group exercise Class Passes have been transferred over to the new system. We are excited to transition to Nookal as it is a much better fit for our business but apologies in advance for any inconveniences that the transition may cause to begin. We would like to thank our Admin Staff Maria and Sharon for all the work they put in for the conversion!

15.01.2022 Injuries are difficult to cope with at any time but especially when you are attempting to achieve greatness within your chosen field. On the path to recovery there is both the physical and emotional aspects that have to be addressed which at times will feel like a rollercoaster ride. Some of the key factors I have found to make a difference are firstly acceptance of the injury and the shift of your goals towards the rehabilitation and secondly, approaching the rehabilitatio...n with a positive mental attitude and good perspective. Getting injured doing what you love in some ways is a privilege and there are always other people going through even harder struggles. If you are able to come out the other side with good health, the individual is usually stronger in mental resilience and has a better appreciation and understanding of their body. We are following the journey of Byron Bay local and one of the Northern Rivers most promising Ballerinas Miss Daisy Doo. She suffered a knee ACL injury that we are managing conservatively (non operative). This is not an easy thing to do and it's very hard to have the thing you love doing taken away at any time but this young lady has shown nothing but focus and determination along with a super positive attitude far beyond her years. We are hoping to have her back dancing soon as possible!! Well done Daisy! We can all watch this video for a little motivation! #byronbay #byronbayphysio #byronbaypilates #pilatesbyronbay #aclrehab #northernriversdance See more

15.01.2022 Our delightful Ballerina Miss Daisydoo performing a fondu correctly through her turnout line. The 1/2 roller giving the feet and ankles feedback with rolling inwards or outwards and the theraband insuring adequate control through her inner range quad (knee yield). This exercise is a real VMO muscle burner and great for improving knee tracking and turnout control through fondu on the supporting leg. This is not easy but Daisy nailed it first go #byronbay #dancephysiotherapy #evolvebyronbay

06.01.2022 Early Physio management and treatment after an injury can significantly reduce recovery time in many cases. Particularly for peripheral joint sprains when immobilisation and rest only has been prescribed. Hospitals and emergency Doctors will mostly be concerned with broken bones at first and will X-ray the area. If no fracture is found they will often discharge you with limited advice and information. So if you are unsure when and how to start rehab, call and speak with one... of our physios so we can help diagnose and give more accurate information on management and moving forwards. Pictured is our local dance Super Star @she_is_daisydoo who had to spend time in emergency yesterday from an acrobatic injury. Her amazing Mum knew to bring her in ASAP and today we had her back up and walking... fingers crossed we will have speedy recovery #physiobyronbay #byronbayphysio See more
