23.01.2022 What a find! A large old horseshoe (most likely from a Clydesdale) and two smaller horseshoes were found at the Hotel Gosford site, where excavating is currently taking place. There were originally horse stables located in this area. ... Stay tuned - we cant wait to see what else is found during the refurbishment.

Formerly known as the Metro Arts Theatre and listed on the Queensland Heritage Register in 1992, the former warehouse was most recently home to a theatre and community arts precinct.... 11.01.2022 It was a proud moment as we stood silently in the Edward Street building and witnessed the start of the restoration of 100 years of history around us. This is unseen footage from 2020 of the moment National Rigging PM from Shore Hire, Marc Griffin, operated this complex jacking system to level the building. He used 12 x 50 tonne hydraulic jacks to lift 4 storeys over the course of just a few short hours, after careful preparation and planning for several months! Shore Hire

10.01.2022 At Evolve Constructions, we are taking the following steps to be #covidsafe Designated hand washing stations Increased on site cleaning, including daily disinfecting of high traffic areas, daily toolbox talks to ensure that all subcontractors on site are fully aware of the requirements. Installed signage around all sites to promote hand and respiratory hygiene and to reinforce the site specific requirements. Ensuring Site Supervisors are vigilant in monitoring that these steps are taken by completing a daily inspection checklist to ensure that we are always meeting the advised standards highest of standards.

05.01.2022 Time to grab popcorn! We recently completed the newly renovated Event Cinemas Toowoomba. It opened last month with the unveiling of a new V-Max theatre - the big screen is one of the largest in QLD, just shy of 25m! Two existing cinema auditoriums are now with wide-cushioned standard seats and full recliners + there is a new candy bar, café and bar area.

04.01.2022 History in scale | 109 Edward Street, Brisbane Surviving Brisbane’s demolition blitz of the 1960s, this heritage building was first constructed as a riverfront warehouse in 1889. Its carriageway was used to transport products from the river dock via horse and cart, and then hoisted up the pulley shaft that we believe was quite advanced for its time! ... He is also an innovator in Trading Desk Technology and has developed a Glass Paint product recognised world-wide. ...
