09.01.2022 Did you know the National minimum wage is now $694.90 per week as of 1 July? This is calculated on an ordinary hours working week of 38 hours and works out to be just under $34K annually (ex super before tax). Casual hourly rates now $18.29 per hour. Good to remember even when you are paying for casual babysitters, cleaners or other household helpers (over 18 years).
