24.01.2022 Back in Brazil, well were all done here for now. An incredibly worthwhile but quiet gruelling nearly two weeks in Brazil. We got the roof on an most of our conc...rete panel cladding on the front wall. There is still some cladding, the infill concrete floor slab and a few other bits and peices for the community to finish of before they can start using the building. I have to say with a few ups and downs along the way as expected, the trip, the project the experience was a complete success. It has been an incredble learning experience for myself and everyone else involved i suspect, but a small example of how with engagement of a community, local knowledge, vision from the powers that be a small project can benefit and enrich not only the community the project was intended but the people who worked on it. Thanks very much for everyones support in which ever way it came to help me work on this project.

03.01.2022 Prior to us being engaged to design this house, our clients had been advised by the real estate and Council separately, due to the environmental significance of the site at a local government level and national level that it would be impossible to get approval to build a house. After a long journey, being referred to the Commonwealth and back and forth with Council, we have finally received development approval!
