19.01.2022 Some of the bass from the morning’s release

18.01.2022 Glorious morning at Baroon with Sal and 10 odd Bass Caught, Released & only 3 tagged as I thought I broke my gun but the needle just fell out. All fish caught o...n Yab Blades and TN70s. Caught a Bass that was tagged by Dennis Pearce 3 years ago and it has grown 40mm in that time. Great to see Dennis and his son were also at the dam today and they both caught & released Mary River Cod which measured around the 60-65cm mark. I don't know if the Cod would be from our fingerling release from previous years or if they were naturally occurring , not sure on what the growth rate would be . Fantastic to actually see evidence , check out Denis's post on the Pine Rivers Lakes Fishing FB page . Caught up with Graham Foley as well for a few laughs as per usual. Another top sesh for Team Tenpin !!! See more

13.01.2022 The local turned it on this morning with EMDFMi members Gibbo, Matti and yours truly all gettin on the scoreboard. Wind, Rain & whitecaps and a few minutes of ...sunshine didn't turn the fish off at all. 20 odd Bass between us C&R with the top 3 going 49.9, 48 & 44 and Gibbo dropped what we think was a Mary River Cod close to his yak. Devastation, a few choice words, skyward looks to the gods asking why why why where quickly replaced with smiles all round after me & Matt gave our 2 cents worth to Gibbo the reasons why he lost it. Cheers to Matt getting his PB Bass as well. Another fantastic sesh with some great mates on the lake with heaps of laughs! See more

13.01.2022 1st fish for 7 weeks and me & Sal hit up Lake Baroon. 10 Bass tagged with the biggest going 38.Heaps of spanglies around as well. Had a chat at the ramp with Peter & his son who recently set up a boat to Bass fish after seeing the clubs FB posts. He looks certain to be a future fishing champion after reeling in this stonka. Check the smile on the young fella, he must of out fished his Dad. Fantastic to see our stocking efforts bringing joy to young and old .

09.01.2022 A few big gutz Bass this morning with Sal . S-Baits, Blades & TN70 doing the damage all cast right to the weed edge and let drop before slow roll & hop back . Tagged 8 fish with the biggest going 480! Another top sesh for Team Tenpin!

08.01.2022 Today we released another 30,000 bass into Baroon Pocket Dam. Thanks to the members that came along this morning and Hanwood Fish Hatchery for the quality fingerlings.

07.01.2022 Fruitful morning sesh at the local with over 3 metres of Bass caught, tagged & released . Team Tenpin smashin it again with a couple of fat 48s the standout .Th...ought I had the winner then Sal hooked up a pig on her new Lipstick Rod the same size so we'll call it a draw today. Boomerangs, SharpPoint Square Bill and Smak tail spinners doing the damage! Fantastic to be involved with Ewen Maddock Fish Management in stocking EMD with Bass, Mary River Cod & Saratoga and Bass & Mary River Cod at Baroon Pocket. Our babies sure grow up to be cranky fat delinquents !#scftagging #scftagandrelease #scfaustralia #predatek See more

01.01.2022 Unholstered the new gun today and got myself 7 Bass tagged . Good to be adding data to the ever growing Citizen Science movement and hopefully one day I'll re c...atch one of my tagged fish. Dropped one really good fish that grabbed a TN50 cast right to the weed edge and pulled a heap of string which felt like high 40,s but i'll never ever know and all the rest caught were smallish around the 30-35 mark. Good to catch up with David Brace as well who also caught a few. See more
