23.01.2022 Build a better world . Nature's stroke of genius.

21.01.2022 Our CEO is prepping for the CEO sleepout this week. Building stimulus is being talked about in the wood products industry and in the broader construction industry. One way to create building stimulus in economic downturns is development of social housing. Not only is Dave planning to have a rough night this week, but he is also meeting with Community Housing Industry Associations. These guys are advocating for construction stimulus to help the economy, as well as people who are struggling. It seems fair that the construction industry bats for those who are struggling, as well as pushing for building stimulus!

15.01.2022 Trees in the ground mean carbon absorption and storage, jobs, and renewable building materials.

12.01.2022 This is going to be interesting to watch. Expect a much lower carbon footprint and a faster build time. Well done Atlassian. #buildbetter #carbonfootprint

12.01.2022 We are pleased to work with other wood product supply chain industry associations to promote mental well-being. It's an important job for an industry that has some 60,000 employees across the Aussie supply chain. If you want to register, get in touch with your member association listed on the image

02.01.2022 Some poignant reminders of risks in economic stimulus. No argument that we need building stimulus, but risks need to be managed. 1. "We are already battling a crisis of confidence.... Poor quality buildings have devastated people's lives." Australia has some great builders and great building products. Use them. Avoid dodgy work and dodgy materials. EWPAA product certification attests to conformity with AS/NZS product standards.... 2. "We could learn much from the principles of urban acupuncture, which would advocate a community-based approach to stimulus. It would also warn against awarding contracts to major multinationals. These corporations suck money out of needy communities ... with no links to the communities we need to help" We have some great wood products businesses in our region. The dollars spent on products produced in this part of the world do more economic work in this part of the world. EWPAA certified wood products are all produced in this part of the world. So, if you are using wood look for EWPAA certified. That way you are getting wood that conforms, and you are fuelling our regional economies. Its just good risk management! #quality #buildbetter #economicstimulus #buildingproducts
