10.01.2022 Gippsland Bushfire ====== DONATION DROP OFF POINT ======= Following many inquiries from the generous community regarding drop-off points for donated items... to be sent down to Gippsland, Belgrave Fire Station will be open over the this weekend (SATURDAY 2pm 6pm, SUNDAY 10:30pm 1:30pm) to receive donations. We have liaised directly with the Bairnsdale Relief Centre and they have given us a wish-list for much needed items. We ask that you stick to the wish list, as we are trying to get the most urgent items (as requested by the centre) to communities as fast as possible. In addition to the wish list, if anyone has any kids Christmas presents they’d like to send down, please wrap and label with appropriate age group and gender (if appropriate). Furthermore, we’d appreciate sturdy boxes/large stripey bags in which we can pack and label donated items. A huge and heartfelt thanks to all those who have asked us about donating so far. There are no words for how welcomed your support and generosity is to us, so we’ll keep it simple: Thank you. The Wish List: * Breakfast cereals * Cordial * Power-aid/Gatorade/hydrolyte * Slabs of water * Tea, coffee and long-life milk * Toiletries toothbrushes, toothpaste, dry shampoo, shampoo & conditioner, soap, deodorant (new and in their packets) * Feminine hygiene products -pads, tampons, liners (all new and in their packets) * Nappies newborn through to toddler * Towels, face washers and bathmats * Shoes especially sandals and thongs * Pyjamas childrens and adults (please label and size accordingly) * Baby and childrens clothing (please label and size accordingly) * Camp chairs/tables * Backpacks/handbags/purses * Zip-lock bags (all sizes) * Shopping bags (all sizes) ***STRICTLY NO 2 minute noodles, adult clothing, books or bbq’s there is already an abundance donated.****
