19.01.2022 We've always said that Auto Electrics is like a box of chocolates - you never know what you're gonna get! Well, one client of ours was SURE feeling disconnected! We'll never forget when Jason attended a booking in order to fit a new trailer socket to a vehicle for the client's caravan. The client was amazed at how long the work was taking and how thorough the job seemed to be compared to the last time he had gotten someone else to wire up a trailer socket (on his other vehic...le). He decided to casually mention to Jason that the last guy took about 10 minutes to do what he thought was the same job. Jason scratched his head and thought to himself, 'Even if you had 10 people doing this job, there is no way this job would take just 10 mins.' Jason asked the client whether the other person had checked a, b and c? Jason also asked about the way the caravan was working, checking for symptoms and clues. After having that little discussion with our client, Jason deduced that the trailer socket was fitted but had not connected at all ! #oops #tradiefails #doitoncedoitright #findingtheexactsolution
