20.01.2022 Congratulations to our Chiropractic Assistant Nicole Lempick who over the weekend at the International Gonstead Seminar of Chiropractic in Sydney received the Max Joseph Memorial Award for Student Excellence This award recognises an individual who has shown outstanding dedication, passion and commitment towards the Gonstead System of Chiropractic over the five year university degree. ... This award is particularly personal for Nicole as Max Joseph was an exceptional Chiropractor, and mentor to Dr Kym Barron throughout his degree and Chiropractic journey. Furthermore in 1976 Dr Max was the founding chiropractor at the 344 Main St Mornington Chiropractic Clinic from which Exactly Chiropractic still operates today. Thank you for your ongoing service to the clinic Nicole, we look forward to you continuing your chiropractic journey with us when you start as a Chiropractor in January of next year.

16.01.2022 Good evening everyone. As you all are well aware, the situation with the Coronavirus (COVID-19) is continually evolving. Chiropractic, which is classed under Allied Health, is considered by the National Cabinet as essential services, therefore we are OPEN as per our normal schedule. In the meantime, the health and well-being of our patients and staff remains a priority for our team and we are currently taking extra measures within the clinic to ensure we can continue to prov...ide optimal care to our patients. For example, we are working hard to ensure we continue to adhere to national guidelines with respect to cleanliness, sanitation and social distancing. 1. All touchable surfaces are wiped down multiple times per day with disinfectant spray. 2. As usual, all practitioners wash their hands both before and after every consultation. 3. Social distancing measures have been implemented in all public areas. 4. All toys and magazines have been removed from the waiting room. 5. At this time, if you are feeling unwell in the slightest, please stay at home and rest. Give us a call and we will reschedule your appointment. 6. If any practitioner or team member is feeling unwell, they will be staying home. 7. Hand sanitiser has been made available in both reception and treatment rooms. 8. For those that choose, you can request to wait for your appointment in your vehicle and be called by reception when your treatment room is cleaned and ready for your appointment. 9. Where possible we ask that all payments be made by tap and go payment method. To our patients we ask for your cooperation with this and request you to please: 1. Use the hand sanitisers provided at the front desk and within all treatment rooms, or alternatively the hand washing facilities. 2. If you are experiencing any flu-like symptoms, please reschedule your appointment and seek medical attention. 3. Cover coughs and sneezes, dispose of tissues and keep your hands clean. 16.01.2022 STAGE 4 RESTRICTIONS UPDATE Under the current Stage 4 COVID-19 Restrictions, you can still attend your chiropractic appointment. However, to assist with the Victorian Government recommendations to reduce community transmission and movement:... 1. If you feel your appointment is not urgent, please reschedule for a later date as routine or "maintenance" appointments are currently not permitted. 2. If you have an existing appointment and feel it is urgent care that cannot wait 6 weeks, or if delay of care will result in significant deterioration of your wellbeing, please keep your appointment. Every patient will be screened via a telephone call prior to their appointment to ensure they meet the required eligibility to attend the clinic during this time. 16.01.2022 NEW CLINIC HOURS We at Exactly Chiropractic are dedicated to providing a safe and healthy environment for all of our patients and staff. In this changing environment, we are constantly adapting to new challenges and guidelines. As a result, we have implemented new clinic hours and staffing schedules effective Monday the 30th of March to ensure the safety of our patients and staff. The main objectives of these changes are:... 1. To protect the wellbeing of our staff, patients and the public. 2. To maintain the appointment availability over the full working week. 3. To limit the amount of patients within the clinic at any given time. 4. To divide our team into two thereby limiting the chance of a potential interruption to our services over what will no doubt be a volatile six month COVID-19 period. 5. To ensure adequate cleaning time for the consultation rooms and waiting area before and after every patient. If you have an existing appointment you may have already been contacted by us to reschedule your appointment. Each of our chiropractors will be available 5 days per week, but only for a limited period of time each day. Poor posture can increase pressure on your spine and may contribute to muscle soreness, headaches and back pain. Chiropractic is an AHPRA registered primary health care provider and as such we are classed as an essential business. We continue to strive to provide the safest environment for you and your family. As aforementioned in previous posts we have implemented a number of social distancing, hygiene and safety measures in an attempt to maintain a safe working environment for all o...f our staff and patients. To add to these measures there is the option of waiting in your car for your appointment. Just let reception know via a phone call of your arrival in the clinic carpark, and they can notify you when your treatment room is ready.
