We have started using digitally responsive rubrics to map our students' progress for each writing task. In this video, one student's progress can clearly be seen as her learning is mapped on the rubrics. Jamal who has authored two leading books on HSC Business Studies. Classes will run for 1.5 hours once a week. Students will receive piles of teacher notes and will also develop the writing skills necessary to get a Band 6. Mr. Jamal only runs ONE Business Studies class because of his busy schedule throughout the year. Once spots fill up, there will be no other classes available for HSC Business Studies. 20.01.2022 At Excellent English Education, we are firm on class sizes. Unlike other tutoring companies who have 15-20 students in a single class, we have capped our class sizes to 8 students. We focus on each student's strengths and then help them develop new skills from their point of readiness to learn. To do this, we spend a lot of time with each student throughout the lesson. Building a student-teacher relationship takes time and having so many students in one class makes it near impossible to attend to every student's needs. Though it is important to note as educators we facilitate but it is the students unwavering determination that enables their growth. 18.01.2022 Dear Parents- this may alleviate some stress. We know many of our parents use NAPLAN as a way of benchmarking their child's learning milestones. It is safe to say you don't need to stress about the issue as it appears it has been cancelled. Focus on establishing a learning environment from home in preparation for possible self- isolation upon school closures. Create an enlarged version of your childs timetable and place it on a wall or board and ensure they follow it. Schoo...ls will provide work and facilitate student learning as best they can. 14.01.2022 WE ARE READY! To help minimise the spread of the virus we have decided to encourage a shift from the traditional classroom setting to learning from home. Our classes for year 7 to 12 will go ONLINE from next week. We believe in continuity as a means of alleviating stress and helping our students growth in their home environment.
