10.01.2022 Water or Mountains?

10.01.2022 Launching on the 4th July out of Mooloolaba, Saltwater Eco Tours is a brand new water-tour experience that forges a deeper connection to our ancient culture and... the sea. Founded by Young Indigenous Tourism Leader, Simon Thornalley, visitors will be taken out on a traditional sailing vessel to culturally significant sites to educate them about the connection between Indigenous culture and the ocean. Here, you’ll listen to stories about the local Kabi Kai (formerly known as Saltwater People), learn hands-on traditional sailing skills and enjoy tasty bush tucker. Sunshine Coast indigenous identity Kerry Neill (of TribalLink) will also be involved in story-telling and music. Jump onboard the historic ‘Spray of the Coral Coast’ timber sailing vessel and enjoy an unforgettable cruising experience along the Mooloolah River. For tickets, visit Saltwater Eco Tours.
