17.01.2022 After a disappointing quali and a wet race with a fogged up car it was great to be able to finally show what we’re capable of! Well done Michael Clemente Motorsport - mature drive, some great moves with clean passes (thanks Asher Johnston for the tutorage!) and some great racing all round. For only our second race in the category we were stoked to come away with a great result today. Onwards to Bathurst for the 6 hour!

06.01.2022 Today we had a great day out at the Western Victorian Crane Trucks Valley Stages with all the Grant Walker Parts Excel Rally Series crews. It’s been a tough year and great credit to the organising team for persisting to make it happen. We had been searching for some handing improvements and found them just in time to see out 2020, being the fastest Excel through stage 1 with a relatively conservative drive. The car now rotates mid corner when it should! Unfortunately the mec...hanical gremlins hit hard on stage two with a new air-cooled gearbox casing after the diff decided to grenade itself. The service crew of Brown/Clemente to the rescue for extraction and we had everyone home in time for dinner and for bonus points the navigator even cleaned up (thanks Mitch Lukasz!!). So 2020 rally season is done, couldn’t do this without the wonderful support from friends and family and some great sponsors in Mentor Tyres / MRF Motorsport Tyres, Brown Davis, Brakes and More and Raceline Motorsport Racewear. Bring on 2021!

03.01.2022 With the S.A. border open we finally got to hang out with the legendary Asher Johnston this weekend. Been working hard in lockdown and was great to get this beast onto dyno just in time for Christmas to test the beginnings of our 2021 package (thanks Herrod Performance!) Love working with awesome people and looking forward to seeing what the Check It Out Racing crew can do with it.
