25.01.2022 After a massive week(s) wrapping & wrapping & planning the next weeks wraps, wraps in house, onsite & interstate , one offs & mainly a few of our fleet clients have really kicked off , some may say Im mad, but it was nice to come home with the latest issue of WRAPS magazine at the door. Some cool articles on how you run your shop, stories on gun installers around the globe & also reminded me unfortunately still how far behind the US we are in regards to tools, access ...to to not even really new tools, tools Ive never seen before, colours from even the big brands we dont get here, even printers & machinery that look superior we dont see here. Its cool seeing it all but a bummer also in some ways Some interesting interviews with companies describing completely different & innovative techniques & solutions to wrap specific problems to which some may work & some not so much over here..... most definitely would not fly. With these legends cancelling recently with Metallica-like WTF, we missed out on that bell ringer of a gig- & now Machine Head cancelling their Australian tour in September cause of this goddamn Rona virus- whats a man to do to switch off & let off some steam? Sure, theres...like ...kids & family stuff & wholesome activities Im sure I could pencil in some time with But I miss live shows ..., it was something to look forward too, the one place you truly do feel alive & is just Fukn awesome. 21.01.2022 Smashed out a quick headlight restoration, love a little headlight Resto work! So satisfying, simple & corrects a safety issue all at once We can sort that for you also, whether part of a general wash or detail or just a stand alone service Faded, hazy, oxidised, yellowing head &/or tailights- they do make your car look a bit tired & shabby & definetly dull your lights at night. But its an easy fix & makes such a difference Pop in, Wel knock em out $60 a pair! Bargain...! Came up god damn flying I tells ya . She got the worx this one. 12.01.2022 Very tidy @chatswoodtoyota Hilux Rogue came to us from our mates @scm_tyre_auto . Shes such a beauty that it needed protection post haste. So after removing some general swirls & light scratches with the always reliable @zvizzer_australia_nz Heavy Red into Light Green. The results were awesome-paintwork , ute tub hard top, bonnet, both of which we can have a devil of a time getting perfect- all corrected beautifully . Finished it off with a double dose coat of 8 year Ceram...ic Coating then after curing boosted it with @systemxaustralia Renew for extra pop to hand back over to the owner. After a bit of a stop / start beginning the first of 40 of these @toyotamaterialhandlingaus wraps on the new shaped Hiace vans have begun and this is the first little bugger! A few tweaks needed possibly with artwork converting from screen to actual van but all went well & we be just TMHing it up for a few weeks Id say . Our parking lot & neighbouring streets look like we are moving Toyota Hiace vans as a side hustle & no one real...ly has anywhere to park, but thats beside the point . Greyhounds are awesome animals & if you like a dog that literally just likes hanging out, & not doing much at all, but hang with you & love you, then Greyhounds are where its at. 05.01.2022 In the middle of a run of 7 of these Hiace van wraps. They are awesome & such a good initiative. Greyhounds are awesome animals & do make just the best pets, the most unbelievable temperament in an animal, the poor buggers have had it tough for far too long. This job is also a sentimental one- my old man was a trainer, owner, racer, breeder & lover of the dishlickers & he was also a Bookie at the track. My pre teen years I went every night to the track- Monday Wenty, Tuesday ...Gosford, Wednesday Bulli, Thursday Dapto , Friday Richmond & Saturday back at Wenty while Dad was a bookie at the tracks & we inevitability had a few runners too. Best time of my life, school nights too! Oh the mischief we may or may not have got up to , at a race track, as a minor, unsupervised, in the late 80s/Early 90s We had good dogs too, plenty of winners at Wenty, best part was giving them a Mr Whippy Ice cream win or lose at end of the night! We kept all our dogs too post race career.... so enjoyed this job, so many memories.. 05.01.2022 Just a tip, dont buy a 70k Black, kick arse Toyota Hilux Rugged. Notice a few swirls on the bonnet from poor wash techniques then pull out the buffer cause yeah I can just give it a quick once over shel be sweet But also use possibly the heaviest cut known to man & also not once, not twice , but thrice POLISH your factory standard matte black vinyl decal also Just dont, you shouldnt , nor should you continue to do so after maybe seeing the results the first time ...you went over maybe just a small corner area & seen what it does . Cause buffing the shite out of your matte black decal pretty much made it become one with the clear coat . And we had the joy of trying to & in the end successfully removing the flaky mess. Then correctly restored the paint on the entire bonnet & after that installed a new decal. Took ..,,ages. Just dont aye. Ask us! We can help & offer all the advice you like & tell you the correct way if you want to have a crack yourself, happy too. Always

04.01.2022 Had a rad Audi Q3 come in recently. The new owner & their fam wanted it tidied up with a bit of styling as it was a 2016 model & needed a bit of love after the purchase. Cleaned up the paintwork with the awesome @zvizzer_australia_nz Heavy Red into Light Green combos & it worked a treat! Pulled the wheels off & cleaned up the calipers & sprayed n baked them Vivid Red & while wheels were off we ceramic coated the barrels & rim faces to repel brake dust & general grime from st...icking. After all was said and done we sealed the deal in just the best @systemxaustralia Diamond SS Ceramic coating, giving the sweet Audi 7+years of glossy goodness & protection. Was a cool job bringing the paintwork back, adding the red calipers & generally cleaning up both interior & exterior. It looked mint when it rolled out the door & the client was both happy & awesome ! 03.01.2022 I use to think service stations were only good for Petrol & Maxibon ice creams ...until the other day. Inexplicably, our local servo had METALLICA Monopoly just sitting pretty next to the New Weeklys & a personal favourite- Thats Life Magazines, like its just normal for a shitty servo to have Metallica Monopoly on its shelves They also had a Gossip Girl version, so it was a good 10 minutes deciding which one to get....maybe. Anyhoo, I was that excited I asked the lovely..., yet befuddled, Indian bloke behind the counter if he had anymore out back (no sir,sorry ) & can he then call his mates at the other servos to see if they too had some so I could get multiples, but after some amusing banter & repeating Metallica Monopoly multiple times to equally befuddled servo clerks in our local area, this was the only copy in our local area! if youre down with Gossip Girl, Riverdale, Law & Order SUV or Buffy in Monopoly style - then you guys are in luck as theres shitloads on the shelfs! Just after a little styling in this case we smoked out the clear lenses on both rear lamps and the lower mid lamps to really toughen up the look from the back end. Our head/taillight film acts as a stonechip/protection film also & not just a tint.
