12.01.2022 Dyslexia (reading), Dysgraphia (writing), Dyscalculia (maths) and Dyspraxia (motor) are learning difficulties that are quite different and impact a child’s learning differently, yet are often confused with each other. Children with either of these 4 learning difficulties are able to excel with patience, understanding and early intervention. #excelwithmrsl #ser4kids #dyslexiaaustralia #dysgraphiaawareness #dyscalculiaawareness #dyspraxiaawareness

11.01.2022 How did you commemorate or celebrate Australia’s National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence (19 March 2021)? Today, I witnessed a beautiful sea of orange as staff and students at my school wore orange in representation of diversity (Harmony day - Sunday, 21st March). This afternoon, students across the entire school met with their buddy classes to show that words matter by writing a compliment to their buddy peer. I too was ever so fortunate to receive some bea...utiful words from students and parents that really did make my day just that much brighter, thank you Any word or act of kindness is never lost. Life is so busy that we often forget to stop and think of how our actions and/or words can affect others in both a positive or negative way, whether intentional or not. Today is not yet over, there is still time to send a random act of kindness to someone, anyone...family, friend, teacher, colleague, child etc. Never underestimate the power of a kind word #excelwithmrsl #nomorebullying #nationaldayagainstbullyingandviolence
