25.01.2022 Just finished repairing this sweet Antique chair. Mika replaced the chair pad which was thin and brittle. The owner wanted a change of colour, so we decided on a soft grey with white highlights. It is now ready to be sat on again.
24.01.2022 These large metal crates with handles are just perfect for winter. Load up your wood in it for the fire or maybe use as storage in the living room for throw rugs and extra cushions. Measurements are...top one is 75cm long x 53cm wide x 48cm high. Bottom crate is 93cm long x 54cm wide x 48cm high.

23.01.2022 Just finished updating this very old wooden shoe box. This took some time, measuring and taping every stripe but I got there in the end. Loving this blue so much so I'm going to paint my next project this colour too.
23.01.2022 This stylish old chest of drawers is going to it's new home. After Mika finished repairing this beauty and sanding back its lovely top, I got to work painting it. The original handles have been lightly touched up with gold paint and the top has been waxed to nourish the wood and bring out the rich colour. It gives us great pleasure to give old pieces like this a new lease of life.

20.01.2022 I bought this for myself the other day while out sourcing new vintage pieces for the shop. It also came with two crates of records! I love winding it up and listening to the old music, it's got such a lovely sound. I will get around to cleaning it shortly.

18.01.2022 Does anyone else have a thing for Florentine Furniture? I do. I have found a couple of pieces over the years and these are my latest pieces I have aquired. They were made in Florence Italy. I love the aged gold. Now to find a place for them in my home.

01.01.2022 An early Australian piece of furniture getting a clean up in the workshop this week. The first picture is after the shelves had been scrubbed and sanded revealing the lovely original white pine. Other pics are before photos. The rest is getting a good clean after years of service in a farmhouse kitchen. Will be put back together and in the shop next week.
