25.01.2022 Very sad to read this morning the beautiful old paddle boat Amphibious has sunk at her moorings at Echuca. The great news is her owners are committed to getting her back on top of the water and restoring her once again.

23.01.2022 Some days it's just fun to turn complex operations into simple graphic designs. Lines and patterns, some of my favourite things

20.01.2022 Talking of Stock Photography this morning. I see a request for "An actual photograph of indigenous Australian mythical creature." This one might take a while me thinks

19.01.2022 We try not to talk about photography workshop stuff on this page. However, we have just had a place become available in our Sunraysia Beginners Workshop on the 14th of September. We would really appreciate it if you could share this with anyone who might be interested. Thanks in advance for that. https://shop.excitations.com.au//beginners-photography-co/

18.01.2022 Two photos randomly crossed my desktop this morning. That sparked a what if moment and here we are. Ash, Matt and a sunflower

18.01.2022 My dad use to tell me "If you haven't anything constructive to say, say nothing." So here goes..........

18.01.2022 Hey, it is raining here at Yelta. We all know what that means. The dust is on its way. Free topsoil for almost everyone. the downside, of course, is some poor buggar is missing a lot of dirt.

17.01.2022 Most of our website is down. Server maintenance in the middle of the night in the USA. The only thing working is our stock photography and video footage library hosted out of France. All should be back and running within the next two hours.

17.01.2022 This image was created in March 2020. Fast forward four months, almost to the day and what a different world we live in. No more are their hundreds of international tourist flocking to places like Hosier Lane in Melbourne, to view street art and create memories of their trip down-under.

15.01.2022 I try not to post this stuff here but as it is in Sunraysia I decided to do it anyway. Beginners Guide to Photography Workshop, on the 21st March, kick-off time 1 pm cost $69 including GST https://spark.adobe.com/page/DQUOH5Izf9zLC/

15.01.2022 If yesterdays election tells us anything. It says all those months of journalistic BS and in-depth analysis of opinion polls was a huge waste of time. Seems there is only one poll you can trust and that is the big expensive one held every four years. One of the early exit polls doing the rounds yesterday had Labour winning in a landslide.

15.01.2022 Our stock photo and video footage library have had a change of home. I don't think this affects anyone who reads or follows this page but just in case. The new link is below. https://stock.excitations.com.au

14.01.2022 The fun of 2020 keeps on keepin on:) An inbox full of "sorry your orders will not be complete before we are forced into lockdown" I'm betting the orders "still on the water" will also be coming in via Melbourne as well. Maybe I should go fishing. Oh hang on... can't do that either. Stay safe everyone and keep on :)

14.01.2022 Massive error results in us selling 5 packs of unnamed bare rooted roses. Mildura and surrounds only, $45 delivered, straight from the nursery to you, ready to plant. Reason for sale, we lost the name tags and can't use plants of unknown colour in the project they were intended for. Our bad, you win (as long as you are not fussy about colours:) ) They have to be gone by the 1st of July. The varieties in the random mix are all pictured on the product page at our online shop. Follow the link for details and ordering. https://shop.excitations.com.au//bare-rooted-roses-bulk-p/

08.01.2022 AUSTRALIA FAILS ON THE WORLD STAGE AGAIN. News from the wire services overnight informing us that we are not even the worlds biggest bunch of drunks. Beaten by the poms. AGAIN.

06.01.2022 Just checking some of the early electoral counting and it looks like if we draw a big circle around Sunraysia, all four of our elected parliamentarians will be women. Both Vic and NSW states seats already held by ladies and now appears as if Sussan Ley will retain Farrer and Anne Webster will pickup Mallee. Very cool, all we need now is the rest of Australia to do their bit to get some balance in our parliaments.

04.01.2022 It would appear that we are going to get wet today, but seems we are still being left out of the main event. All of the Victoria is under a severe weather warning. Except for our little patch of dirt at the top-end of the state.

03.01.2022 Good morning team. Happy Sunday. This is just a short note to remind people looking for photos on our website. You will not find any of our event photography on the Stock Photos section of the site.... I've seen a lot of search terms for private individuals on stats for the stock site recently. These photos will be in the Client Gallery section of the site, but will most likely be password protected, as we value our clients privacy. The Stock Photography site is only used for images created specifically for sale and download by publishing, advertising, editorial and marketing clients.

02.01.2022 Hi there team, there is a small chance that parts of our website will become a tad unstable later today. There is a database overhaul happening at our service provider. Chances are it will have an effect, but in case it does, you will know the reason. Any problems will be over in an hour max (or at least that's what the tech guru's tell us)
