21.01.2022 International Coach Week Recently I gained my PCC (Professional Certified Coach) status from the International Coaching Federation and my portfolio included the following evidence: At least 125 hours of coach-specific training with robust documentation ( I have over 200) 10 Hours of mentor coaching by a coach at the same or higher level. Coaching log demonstrating 500 hours of coaching experience (I have 2,600+)... Performance evaluation including two audio recording s and written transcripts of coaching sessions Completion of a three-hour written exam (155 Coach Knowledge Assessment CKA) - I scraped through with 90% The process was quite vigorous and robust and certainly a lot of work went into putting the portfolio together.

20.01.2022 Recruiters are human too. They want to be treated with courtesy and respect. Be polite in all your dealings and make it a pleasure for the recruiter to do business with you. If you do that, they will remember you and not hesitate to recommend you for future positions.

There are many people who call themselves coaches but it is often difficult to know a professional coach who is coach specific trained rather than someone who has experience in facilitating, teaching, advising and consulting. 09.01.2022 International Coach Week One way to ensure you are obtaining the services of an experienced and accredited coach is to establish where they have trained and if they are credentialed with the International Coaching Federation. This is because the coaching industry is not regulated so it’s a useful benchmarking process for coaches and for employers who engage coaches.
