12.01.2022 Delayed on-set muscle soreness, also known as DOMS, occurs as a result of small microscopic tears in your muscle fibres. DOMS is a normal part of exercise and usually peaks 24-72 hours after exercise. DOMS typically occurs when you exercise for the first time in a while, perform eccentric muscle contractions, or increase the load of your usual exercise program. For more info, check out these sources Cheung, K., Hume, P.A. and Maxwell, L., 2003. Delayed onset muscle soreness.... Sports medicine, 33(2), pp.145-164. https://www.healthline.com/health/doms

11.01.2022 Hi friends of Mead Physio Group and Exercise Right In September 2021, I'll be riding on behalf of Compassion with the hope of raising money for the Highly Vulnerable Children fund as well as seeing kids sponsored. I hate seeing images on TV of children struggling to survive in overseas cities as well as in our own country. Please join me by sponsoring a child or donating. Together, we can help offer a hope more powerful than poverty! https://rideforcompassion.raisely.com/jason-wells

An accurate diagnosis is paramount to designing the correct rehabilitation program to assist recovery.
