21.01.2022 Final piece for chest to bar chin up. Use eccentric chest to bars to get as close to the actual movement you’re working towards. These can be made easier by using bands or harder by adding weight via dip belt. Chest to bar chin up true test of strength
20.01.2022 Today I was just pondering...what is it I really want to do? Do I just want to run ads and get as many people through the door? Why did I chose to swap from nursing to Personal Training where I have to generate a salary Vs. a salary just given to me from NSW Health. It's easier to just rock up for an 8 or 12hr shift go through the motions and just go home. BUT that didn't bring me happiness, it didn't bring me satisfaction. I was helping people in hospital but saw the potenti...al to help people out so that they didn't END up in hospital in the first place. So here I am, on a rainy Friday reminding myself I am here to help people not just get better looking bodies that live longer but with much greater quality and joy. Ridding you of pain, improving your range of motion, increasing your bone density, improving your muscle quality and quantity. Very grateful for all my current clients and the futures to come

Meaning they are much less likely to injure themselves, move better improving their quality of life. Not to mention looking better. Let the results speak for themselves
15.01.2022 This week all clients have killed it hitting nice PBs. Ze with doubles on chest to bar chins, Katie hitting mad depth on squats with the highest volume to date, Krystle gel hitting 50kg on back squats for reps! Sharmini hitting consecutive weeks of 3 sessions with increased volume and ass to grass squats at the age of 58, Liz killing it with daily protein intake and great fat loss centrally....all my clients this week killed it and we just have fun! Turn up do the work and repeat. One day at a time. Slow and steady. 13.01.2022 Starting first week of December, Exertion Fitness will be commencing small group training sessions whereby you pay for a ‘Membership’. Max five persons per session minimum 4 week contract and must attend atleast 3 sessions to reap the benefits What will be the focus? -Getting stronger -Building stronger joints via increased loading of tendons so that as we go through life we are less likely to break... -Improved body composition/decreased fat composition Fitness or health is not just about looking good! 11.01.2022 When it comes to the big 2: Training and nutrition/diet, people often argue that diet is the most important.....true mostly. If youre training hardish but diet is trash, meaning your'e not tracking calories, calories are inconsistent daily then you are unlikely to see results. Daily tracking, best app I have found is myfitnesspal, to track the big 3: carbohydrates, protein and fat. Protein is the most important of the 3 when it comes to weight loss, muscle gain, recompositio...n (decreasing fat mass and increasing lean mass) as well as satiety, feeling fuller for longer. The amount of protein consumed per day should be about 2g/kg of body weight and should be hit no excuses. Protein keeps you fuller for longer, helps with muscle recovery/building and the big factor is that it is 3 times more thermogenic than the other 2 macronutrients meaning it stimulates that calorie burning furnace. So get the protein in!!!! See more
