23.01.2022 I bought a packet of Bio Dog Waste Bags from Vegan Garage. I had a roll of biodegradable bags before but because they were sold without a packet, I didn't know the brand. 21.01.2022 I'm a qualified vet nurse. If you need someone to look after your precious fur buddies while you take advantage of the government's travel vouchers, send me a message and we'll talk details and costs. I can visit your house while you are away and feed your fur buddy, take her / him for a walk, clean cat litter, let the chooks out etc. Enjoy some time away and let me take care of everything at home for you. Police check certificate available to sight.

21.01.2022 Dine cat food in the tray is on special at the IGA for 79 cents per tray. Please consider buying some for Agatha's Cat Rescue when you do your shopping. We like using Dine when it's on special as the tray and lid can both be put in the recycling bin

19.01.2022 Waiting to hear back from my course. The last assignments have been sent in and am waiting to receive my certificate. I'll then open up bookings. So exciting!

18.01.2022 Dogs are born to sniff! Using their nose is often the highlight of their walk. They love to sniff. The area of the canine brain that is devoted to analysing scent is 40 times greater than that of the human and dogs can identify smells at least 1,000 times better than we can!

17.01.2022 I did three days of pet sitting at a boarding kennel this weekend - dogs, chooks and alpacas.The owner got back at 3pm today. At 2:30pm I started up the wood heater and fed their alpacas and stacked some extra wood by the front door so they wouldn't have as much to do when they got home and started the process of unpacking. If you know someone in the West Tamar who needs their animals looked in on so they can go away for a while, please pass my name on. They can contact me via this site.

11.01.2022 Things have been quiet for a while as I've been unable to massage any dogs due to social distancing. I've been messaging with my course to see how I can complete my studies. If Covid hadn't struck, they would have been finished by now. Sending off my log books next week. Will give an update when I hear back. I may still need some volunteer dogs after social distancing finishes.

08.01.2022 Just got back from a pet visit. I walked the dog, made sure he ate his tea slowly, checked his bedding and water, and left him with a treat. The client was sent several photos and an update (the photos are strictly for the client only). This is all part of my pet care services. The client knows she can enjoy her time away and her fur buddy is well taken care of.

05.01.2022 I recently had someone ask me what the procedure is when someone wants to hire my pet care services as they hadn't hired someone before. I thought I would write them here for anyone else who is curious. Contact me with the dates, your town and the number and species of animals that need to be cared for. I'll give you a quote and if you're happy with it, we'll arrange a time for a meet and greet. I'll meet both you and the animals t...o be cared for and go through the routine and where everything is with you. I bring a form with me that I fill out along the way with all the care details. Before I leave, I'll ask you to go over that form and sign it to say that it's correct or adjust accordingly. Depending on how close it is to your departure, I'll accept payment in cash or by bank transfer (must be paid before you leave). While you're away you can be confident that your fur buddies are being well looked after. Unless otherwise requested, I'll also send daily photos. See more

02.01.2022 My first nail clip client came to me this week in Exeter. Woo hoo! While I'm waiting for a veterinary business to realise what an asset I would be and hire me, I'm doing cat and dog nail clips, dog walking, visits to feed animals while their humans are away etc. Client said she was happy with the nail clip I gave her cat, and is glad she came. She's bringing her dog for a clip in a few weeks.
