19.01.2022 Attention Customers who get their mail ‘Care of’ the post office: With such large volumes of mail/parcels these days and so many ‘seasonal/travelling’ people in town without P.O. Boxes it is becoming increasingly difficult for our small team to get through sorting the mail with a constant stream of people coming in to check their ‘care of’ mail behind the counter. We have spoken to most of our regulars already but please can we ask that you only come in to check ‘care of’ mai...l either before 10:30am or after 3pm. (Our mail truck arrives in Exmouth around 10:30am most days) This will allow us to get everyone’s mail/parcels sorted so much quicker! If this is inconvenient for you or you will be living in Exmouth permanently then we do still have a limited number of P.O. Boxes available which currently cost $20 establishment fee and $44 yearly rental (Exmouth residents receive this reduced rate due to not having street delivery). It takes 5minutes to sign up and you just need a form of ID to confirm your identity. PO Box Holders - If you’re reading this please note that you are welcome to check your PO box mail at any time (with your of course) and if you have red and white parcel cards in your box that means your parcel is ready to be collected- the times above do not apply) Please do remember to use your box number though - most people seem to get it on their 99% of the time and others only 1% which may lead to delays in you receiving your mail. If you’re not sure how to do it - please ask Your Co-operation is greatly appreciated

03.01.2022 Australia Post has created this form to allow people to get their details out to anyone who may be in need of help. Obviously in most places people would be able to pop these in mailboxes in their neighbourhood but our town obviously doesn’t have these. Please be mindful of social distancing if distributing these around - under a doormat or taped to empty green bins might be some appropriate options.
