24.01.2022 Whilst our guests' safety when out exploring Ningaloo by sea kayak and snorkel is always the #1 priority on our tours, fun and enjoyment come a close #2 Visit Ningaloo - Ningaloo Visitor Centre Australia's Coral Coast Western Australia

22.01.2022 The wildlife has been going off on our half day Turtle Tours lately Yesterday's tour was no exception, with heaps of turtles spotted both from the kayaks and whilst snorkelling, as well as different species of rays (blue-spotted, leopard whip ray and cowtail stingrays), schooling grey reef sharks and black-tip reef sharks in the shallows, a maaaasive guitarfish, and plenty of birdlife. Our Turtle Tours run all year round, summer included, are our recommended family tou...r option, and all equipment is provided, even long-sleeve rashies, hats and polarised sunglasses. All you need to bring is a bottle of water, some sunscreen (reef-safe sunscreen is encouraged) and a sense of adventure Visit Ningaloo - Ningaloo Visitor Centre Australia's Coral Coast Western Australia

21.01.2022 Our half day Turtle Tours run all year round here at Ningaloo. Exploring the shallows by kayak and snorkel is a rewarding experience, and as amazing as they are, it's not all about the turtles: you may also get to see an array of rays , see schools of fish, bird life including birds of prey and shore birds, and whatever else comes our way. The wildlife of Ningaloo is incredibly diverse, and each day is different. Come join us Visit Ningaloo - Ningaloo Visitor Centre Australia's Coral Coast Western Australia

21.01.2022 Look carefully otherwise you'll miss it! We were super lucky when this Tasselled Wobbegong swam past our group whilst snorkelling off Bundegi a few days ago; it then settled in for a photo opp before making tracks again. What a treat! Tasselled Wobbegong are members of the carpet shark family, and are amazing ambush predators, waiting for prey such as small fish to wander into range. Their 'beard' provides perfect camouflage, breaking up their outline to make them difficult t...o spot for potential prey and curious snorkellers alike. 19.01.2022 We had an incredible day on our Lagoon Explorer tour yesterday. Low tides and a light to moderate SW'erly breeze meant conditions were perfect for cruising the outer lagoon, close to the fringing reef. We even managed to break new ground and explore a brand new snorkel site, one that we'll definitely be going back to A highlight would have to be having a modern-day dinosaur, a huge loggerhead turtle, come to check us out Visit Ningaloo - Ningaloo Visitor Centre Australia's Coral Coast Western Australia

15.01.2022 Beautiful wedgetail eagle, standing sentinel on the track into the launch site for our Turtle Tour That's one of the things we love about Exmouth: not only is the ocean ecosystem healthy and teeming with life; but the native wildlife on land is pretty impressive too. Bird life including mobs of emus, bustards, birds of prey, and shorebirds are commonly seen; wallaroos and rock wallabies, dingo, echidna and bungarra are some other species to look out for. 14.01.2022 It's always a good day when a Speckled Carpet Shark comes to say g'day These shy, harmless sharks grow only to about 80cm long, and are found only in NW Australia. As bottom feeders, they feed mainly on small fish, crustaceans, crabs, molluscs and worms. Taken on our half day Turtle Tour in Ningaloo's nursery, the incredible Exmouth Gulf... 01.01.2022 The pressures are mounting on Ningaloo's nursery, the incredible Exmouth Gulf. There are currently numerous proposals to industrialise this very special place, a sanctuary for humpbacks whales, dugong, turtles, rays and myriad other marine life. Check out this article from WA Today outlining some of the reasons the gulf is so special to us. You can have your say about the Exmouth Gulf and what it means to you: the EPA's community consultation period, strategic advice for Exmouth Gulf, ends this Wednesday. Have your say on why Ningaloo's nursery should be protected from industrialisation here: https://consultation.epa.wa.gov.au//ep/consultation/intro/
