25.01.2022 Eggplant I am lucky enough to have an inhouse chef @marcelthomson , i give him my abundant vegetables and he will find a way to make them delicious. Smoked eggplant moussaka, baba ganoush, stir fry thai eggplants, miso glazed, even eggplant crisps. 24.01.2022 Lacewing eggs After worrying about scale and mealy bug on my indoor plants I was reminded today how truly amazing nature is. In 4 days these eggs will hatch and the larvae will feed on mites, scale, mealy bug and other pests for up to 4 weeks before it becomes the beautiful lacewing. They can even eat 60 aphids an hour. #mygardenprovides #pestmanagement #natureknows #indoorplants

22.01.2022 Every day I put the banana peel that comes back from the school lunch box in a jar of water. 48 hours later it is fertiliser and foliar spray for my garden (the peel goes in the compost) Now that's something from nothing!

19.01.2022 Pigeon pea - how amazing can one plant be??! I planted this hedge to protect my veggie patch from marauding chickens but recently I discovered how lucky i am to be able to have this all year round. The bees and beneficial insects love the pretty yellow and white flowers, it grows super fast giving me in-situ mulch, chicken food or compost material, it fixes nitrogen, protects my seedlings from harsh wind and sun and now its producing huge amounts of peas which are protein rich and traditionally used to make daal. Recipe coming soon xxx

The patterns we see in nature are also pleasing to the eye, using them to guide our designs is naturally inviting harmony. How will i marry the rules and principles in my next project?
