25.01.2022 This N. clipeata was just begging to be photographed today. :)

24.01.2022 How much larger will they get? :) N. lingulata x truncata. :)

24.01.2022 Some nice eddys. :)

24.01.2022 Hi All. If you missed out on plants due to the rush there are still some lovely specimen plants available online. The site will be under maintenance from 1-2pm QLD time but after that orders are still good to go. Thanks. :) Other than that most of the quotes will be out by today. I see that several have not met our Australian minimum of $100 in plants as detailed in the 'Ordering Instructions' on our site, so if you have not received a quote by today please check your amount or account details. Thank you.

23.01.2022 Not all N. macrophyllas are created equal! :)

21.01.2022 Some Eddy hybrids starting to show some nice teeth. First 3 pics L-R are crossed with [(Rokko 'Exotica' x boschiana) x veitchii] and the last is crossed with bellii x talangensis. :)

21.01.2022 Maintenance getting there. Two more sides to go. We are hoping to do an update some time in October depending on how this all goes. In the mean time here is a pic of a nice N. sumatrana x (sibuyanensis x xtrusmadiensis) to ponder. :)

21.01.2022 A nice N. ventricosa x xtrusmadiensis array. Imagine this crossed with N. edwardsiana. Just imagine a bit longer as seedlings are growing on. :)

21.01.2022 I remember years ago someone said to me that Nepenthes were unusual but not what you would call pretty, like a flower. Well I am sure we have changed that view before today but this plant is pretty IMO. I know you are probably sick of N. veitchiis but this (k x m) variant is beautiful and I say that knowing we produce 1000s of plants. Interestingly I have posted this variant before and the previous pitcher, as pictured, is now 77 days old and still distinctly shows its striped peristome. A lot of other striped peristome variants start off with stripes but as they age the whole peristome darkens and the stripes merge and are no longer visible. I have remade this grex so hopefully there will be some more spectacular variants in the future. :)

20.01.2022 Just had to post this N. adrianii x burbidgeae. This is the exact plant all the recently available rcs came from. To those who bought them look what you have to look forward too. :)

20.01.2022 Our EU and UK distributor, Taerwe Tropicals in Belgium and our US distributor Redleaf Exotics, have opened our recent update on their sites and are selling out very quickly. Surprisingly there are still some N. lingulata x truncata specimen plants, which look like a giant N. lingulata and our N. veitchii (m) which are greenhouse bred pure N. veitchii originating from Bario available. Nothing really needs to be said about the amazing N. veitchii as the pics below show which are still immature :). N. lingulata x truncata however, we have yet to see another Nepenthes variety grow so compactly for its size and hold so many beautiful, elegant 35-40 cm pitchers and be such an easy grower. Be Quick :)

20.01.2022 Some more beautiful N. jacquelineae hybrids maturing. :) L-R. N. ventricosa (x) x jac, N. (ventricosa x sibuyanensis) x jac. , N. [(ventricosa x sibuyanensis) x burkei] x jac. :)

19.01.2022 Seldom seen. N. lowii x spectabilis. :)

19.01.2022 Nearly trod on it. LOL N. spectabilis x (lowii x ventricosa)

19.01.2022 This amazing N. alata variant we bred recently definitely needed a photo. :)

18.01.2022 Hi All. Due to a cancellation I am just about to place 1 or 2 of the eddy hybrids, as pictured below, back online on our site for sale. They were limited to 1 per customer so if you have already bought one please don't order another. Please give it a few minutes before you check. Other than that most of the quotes will be out by today. I see that several have not met our Australian minimum of $100 in plants so if you have not received a quote by today please check your amount or account details. Thank you.

18.01.2022 Today some nice N. lowii x jacquelineae lower, intermediate and uppers. :)

17.01.2022 Hi Everyone. I know that you all are waiting on us to do an update and new release however these uncertain times have delayed a lot of orders and we have been left with despatch uncertainties. Australia Post is erratic at best and state that they do not see themselves operating normally until July 2021. We are still holding orders from our Feb 2020 update and this is making it difficult for us to stocktake as we have to work around what we are holding. At this time we are tak...ing each day as it comes and even that comes with its surprises. :) Having said this though we have decided to have an update for Australia ONLY which we will upload in Late October/early November. We will announce when this will be live on here and by Mail Chimp. In the mean time here is a pic of a nice N. lowii x (truncata x TM). :) See more

17.01.2022 Today a nice pic showing the progression of the pitchers on N. ephippiata - Hose Mtns. Not quite uppers yet. :)

16.01.2022 A newly opening pitcher on N. lingulata x veitchii. There are a few of these still available on our web site. :)

16.01.2022 These N. jacquelineae hybrids are just stunning. This is a variant we have kept of N. [(ventricosa x sibuyanensis) x burkei] x jacquelineae but there are many more we would like to keep but Alas, the room. :)

16.01.2022 N. lingulata x truncata - giant. This hybrid is just an amazing grex. Every one we have seen is spectacular. Huge pitchers on a compact plant and stunning colour. We will have these as specimens in our next update possibly later this year depending on the opening up of our country. :)

16.01.2022 N. Gothica (sibuyanensis x maxima) just being its stunning self. :)

16.01.2022 Hi All. Thank you to all those that participated in our web site update. We had the site transferred to a larger server and the good thing is that it did not crash with the traffic. We know that there were some other issues mainly due to overseas customers ordering up big even though we asked them not to and we were quickly cancelling them and re-stocking the plants as soon as we could. This would account for the plants appearing sold out and then there was more stock availab...le. There is still some choice stock left online if you did not manage to purchase any last night. To give our ISP some feedback we would appreciate it if you could email us with your ordering experience to help iron out any further bugs. It will take us a few days to send the quotes out and the orders will be sent over a few weeks. Thanks again. In the mean time here is a pic of a nice bunch of platy uppers. :) See more

15.01.2022 After 28 years we made the local News blog. :) https://www.bundabergnow.com//exotic-plants-cordalba-eat-/

14.01.2022 N. lowii like the wild. The lower is the Mt. Murud form and the uppers are from the Mt. Kinabalu form. :)

13.01.2022 These get better every year. N. (ventricosa x sibuyanensis) x hamiguitanensis. :)

13.01.2022 To all customers from Hong Kong and China. We are trialling 3 distributors for all orders from your countries this update. We are doing this as the confusion with all the single orders from your countries increased our work load and opened things up to mistakes and we cannot run efficiently like this. The 3 distributors and their contact info is below. They should be live over the weekend but check with them to be sure. We hope it all works well and customers are happy with ...their plants. Thank you. :) Yingjin Sun :- Email: [email protected] Pang Huaquan :- Email: [email protected] www.legendexotics.com :- Email: [email protected] And just to keep your appetite whet :) . Below is an upper pitcher of N. sumatrana x (platychila x zakriana) :)

13.01.2022 Hi All. The first lot of orders will be on their way tomorrow. Thank you to all involved. This is the most orders from Oz we have ever had. We're supposed to be slowing down to retirement not getting busier. Meanwhile while you are all waiting for your orders to arrive I thought I would post these pics to ponder. This is the female N. truncata - giant showing a couple of 45cm pitchers today with that amazing peristome. :) This is the one that we use in our breeding and is the parent of the N. truncata x eddys that some are receiving soon. This hybrid should be something worth waiting for especially with the teeth they are showing at their small size. ;)

12.01.2022 Cutting back some plants in our highland greenhouse and found this and many others under the sphagnum. :) It's a shame we missed it while it was alive. N. ventricosa x sibuyanensis - squat. Not sure which is rarer now days the plant or the toilet paper.

11.01.2022 Hi All. Thank you to those that participated in our update. We will be taking the site offline tonight at 8pm QLD time as we don't think we could handle anymore orders and process them before Christmas. Please be patient, they will be coming, starting this coming week. Again we were overwhelmed with the response. Sorry for any problems but slowly they are being sorted. In the mean time below are a couple of pics of one of the latest pitcher on one of our stunning N. maxima-dark x jacquelineae plants which gets better with each new pitcher. Not fully coloured yet, as they go nearly black, but what an amazing peristome. :)

11.01.2022 Hi All. We have some auctions running at present that finish at 10PM AEST on the 28/3/21. Although the auctions are visible on our site, customers will have to place bids through the US, EU and China/HK distributors. We would suggest sending your distributors your maximum bid and they will bid for you. Thank you. There is a rooted cutting of our best N. truncata x jacquelineae available. The exact one in the pic below. :)

10.01.2022 A couple of new eddy hybrids showing some teeth. L-R. N. (lowii x ventricosa) x eddy and N. [(Rokko 'Exotica' x boschiana) x veitchii] x eddy. :)

09.01.2022 Hi All. Our pricelist will be updated and online at 8PM AEST on the 10/11/2020. *Please note that this is an AUSTRALIA ONLY update* *If you are not/cannot (overseas customers) order please leave it a couple of days before you log in to have a look as the huge amount of traffic we get plays havoc with the servers. Thank you* Sorry to our overseas customers but we don't have time to organise export inspections at this time. We will however update again early 2021 and there wil...l be plenty of stock. In the mean time here is one of our recent creations showing its traits. N. (boschiana x zakriana) x ({(Rokko 'Exotica' x boschiana) x [Rokko x (zakriana x spectabilis)] x xtrusmadiensis}). :) See more

08.01.2022 A stunning colourful plant. N. (ventricosa x sibuyanensis) x (izumeae x TM) :)

07.01.2022 Hi All. We just found out good news for collectors in Taiwan. Although we can't send to you directly, our EU distributor, Taerwe Tropicals, can. In fact they can send to most countries. :) Please have a look on their web site. There are still some plants available from the recent update from us. In the meantime, below is a post of the latest pitcher of one of our N. jacquelineae x platychila plants. These plants just never cease to amaze. :)

07.01.2022 The beautiful N. (ventricosa x sibuyanensis) x (naga x bongso). It is amazing watching this genus grow and change. :)

06.01.2022 Hi All. Thank you to all that participated in our recent Australia Only catalogue update. :) Which is now closed. It was the largest lot of orders, around 100 that we have ever received from Australia only, thank you. We are currently working through them with around half of them being despatched last Friday the 20/11/2020 and more this week. We are sure everyone will be pleased with their plants. :)... Our store will remain closed now until 2021and we have had a chance to take some time off and catch up. There are many new plants growing on with more exciting hybrids with N. edwardsiana becoming available in the near future. Therefore until next year we would like to wish everyone a safe and happy Christmas and New Year. Thank you. All the best, Geoff and Andrea (EP) Meanwhile below is a couple of lower pitchers from N. northiana x veitchii showing some Christmassy colours. :) See more

04.01.2022 Today a nice N. ovata. Lower and Upper. :)

03.01.2022 A taste of things to come. N. veitchii - Bario x jacquelineae. Still only a baby but that peristome stays out. :)

02.01.2022 A lot of customers have wondered why there hasn't been any of our plants available the EU or UK so far this year. Basically there was a large order of 380+ plants sent by Australia Post in March after we checked and were told that all was okay. We did not see any movement despite the tracking and postal workers telling us that they had been dispatched and were en-route to their destination. Nine weeks later they left Australia. The pics show some before photos a screen shot ...from the post's web site and some of the boxes opened by Belgium customs. They then wasted precious cargo area and returned the 17 x 1 metre boxes back to Australia to be destroyed. To top it off Australia Post and the Australian Ombudsman's office has said that it is not Australia Post's fault and we have had to wear the loss! This is why there have been no plants available in the EU and UK. :( However the upside is that there has been more time for plants to grow on and we are working with Taerwe Tropicals on an import for the coming months. :) There will be some spectacular new varieties available so keep checking with Laurent. :) See more
