24.01.2022 Looking forward to being an SA Leaders Industry Partner in 2020 and beyond! https://www.expertproposals.com.au//sa-leaders-industry-p/ #expertproposals

22.01.2022 Really enjoyed delivering the opening keynote at yesterday’s Victorian Leaders meeting. My topic was "Client Focus and just how critical it is when writing to your clients to focus on their needs and outcomes. When reviewing proposals I find that it’s very common for organisations to focus on themselves and not their clients - but that misses the point! It’s not about us - it’s about our clients.

22.01.2022 As with marketing, your tender proposal will only be well-received if you're meeting your client's needs. If your solution meets their needs, you can write a winning tender proposal to show them how you're the best business for the job. Read more here//bit.ly/2SB9jZ3

21.01.2022 If you’re a small business planning to grow through tenders, here’s a wise tip for you In your tender proposal, make sure you mention your client's name 3 TIMES MORE than your own name. Why?... Because if you want to increase the chance of winning - which we assume is your goal - you have to understand that your proposal isn't about you! Your client needs to know: That you are focused on them You understand their requirements Your solutions will help them achieve their outcomes Have you planned on going for more tenders in 2020 to help your small business grow? 19.01.2022 Our reason for existing is to help small businesses grow through proposals and tenders. Deep within that is our fundamental drive to help. Since our Managing Director Doug Rutter founded Expert Proposals, he was very deliberate about wanting to embed giving as part of our daily operations. This giving takes place via many means contributions to worthy causes, supporting local associations, sponsoring sporting clubs and pro-bono advice and assistance. 18.01.2022 How you present your proposal can be the deal-breaker. Your audience is most likely reading for information not leisure to help decide if your tender proposal meets their requirements or not. So it’s important that you are clear, concise and effectively use visuals and graphics to represent your company in the best possible light.... The adage of put yourself in their shoes is exactly right in this scenario - we want to think of our reader and audience and make it easy for them to understand your key points and messages. These 3 ways can help you to strengthen your tender proposal: Being clear allows your audience to easily understand how you’re an exceptional candidate for tender approval. Being concise is increasingly important because the person reading your tender proposal is short on time and you want them to get to the good stuff as quickly as possible - you want them nodding their head as they read through. Use graphics to represent your pitch in the tender proposal as it ties in your clear and concise message in a manner that’s easy to look at and interpret. We can’t underestimate the importance of taking care in the presentation of our tender proposals - since looking at thousands of proposals over our 30 years experience we know that this can be the deal-breaker. Preparing exceptional proposals is our strong suit at Expert Proposals - Helping Australian small businesses grow through tenders, if this is something you have questions around or need help with, get in touch with Doug Rutter on 0402 967 920 or visit www.expertproposals.com.au to see how we can help. #ExpertProposals #DougRutter #tips #smallbusiness #australia #tenders

12.01.2022 Tender proposals that don’t have evidence backing up claims look weak and superficial. Don’t let that happen to you. Find out how to use evidence when you’re writing your tender proposal in our latest tip: https://zcu.io/mOmC If you’d like a hand to write your tender, contact us today.

09.01.2022 Put your money where your mouth is! If you’re making big claims in your tender proposals, make sure you’ve got the hard evidence to back it up. Without it, your client won’t believe you and your proposal won’t be successful. You can find out more from our latest tip online, https://zcu.io/FX3V or contact us today if you’d like an expert to help you write your next tender proposal.

06.01.2022 When tendering who’s colours and style should you use? When preparing your tender proposal document, the best thing you can do when it comes to the branding aspect is to use your client’s colours, style and messaging. Why?... It helps to reinforce that you are client-focused, not focused on yourself The client is more receptive to a document that looks "internal" than "external" You look like a more compatible partner in the eyes of the client Now we're not saying you can't use your logo or some elements of your company style, but you should try and match your client. For example, if your logo is red, your normal branding colours are red and the client you are proposing has a green and blue style, then you should consider a green and blue themed proposal, and use the white version of your logo. This is one of the ways you can strategically position the people you’re tendering to on your side. There’s more to tenders and proposals than just the information you include and it takes experience with helping clients win tenders over and over again to understand what makes a difference. We’re sharing these tips plus many more in the weeks to come, so keep following along to learn about ways to strengthen your proposals.
