15.01.2022 As the countdown to the new year begins, we reflect on 2020 and remember the things we can be thankful and grateful for in a year that has thrown us so many curve balls. As they say what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, this year has tested everyone’s strength. We would like to say a huge Thank you to our fabulous hard working educators, the children and their families, our community and our own families for all the love and support that you all showed Laura and I this ...year. There were definitely days that it all seemed too hard but as a team we got through it . Cheers to a brighter 2021. Wishing everyone a healthy, safe and Happy New Year

14.01.2022 As part of celebrating NAIDOC Week we had a special visit from one of our families to share stories with us and yarn about their culture and language. So many questions from the children like "who's your mob?" and "where did you go to school?" Thank you Sherry for reading us many stories and having a yarn with us. #NAIDOCWeek2020 #AlwaysWasAlwaysWillBe

09.01.2022 At Explore & Develop Artarmon, we are one big extended family, and given the year that has been, we knew we had to find a way to still celebrate 2020 without the crowds. Usher in Celebration Week for our Senior Preschoolers - Three intimate graduation ceremonies recorded to share with families, and two adventurous excursions to the Ian Potter Children’s WildPlay Garden in Centennial Parklands. #celebrationweek #2020seniorpreschoolers #exploreanddevelopartarmon #wildplaygarden

07.01.2022 Today our babies made an origami Poppy which is a symbol of both Remembrance and hope for a peaceful future. The poppy is a well-known and well-established symbol, one that carries a wealth of history and meaning with it. Lest we forget.

01.01.2022 We've been quiet this year with posting to our Professional Journal as we've been distracted with other things... We thought this piece of writing written by Anna, is the perfect opportunity to congratulate her on her new role as our Creative Arts Leader for 2021. We look forward to sharing her journey whilst she implements creative arts and inspires our children and team. https://exploreanddevelop.com.au/art-as-a-form-of-communic/
