24.01.2022 Everyday we embrace indigenous perspectives into our daily learning. This week though we really enjoyed celebrating the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Miss Stephanie from our Emu Plains centre shared with us one of her family traditions she had learnt from her grandfather . To create an earthy paint from red stone dust which creates an ochre, this mixed with water becomes a liquid paint . The children really enjoyed painting and also having it painted on them too ! #nadiocweek2020 #exploreanddevelop #indigenousperspectives
