22.01.2022 So this happened yesterday. During recess one at school yesterday, after a particularly challenging lesson, I had a quick look at Instagram and saw that other wedding suppliers had made it as a finalist in the #bridechoiceawards. I saw one had received an email that morning. Imagine my complete shock when I checked my emails to see the same email saying that @exquisiteweddings had made it as a finalist! I just can't believe it - thank you to all of my gorgeous couples who thought me worthy enough to vote for. Now time to party and prepare for the biggest wedding season of my life!!

20.01.2022 Another stunning wedding day captured by the beautiful Rachelle Angela Photography. A few firsts for me - Blake and his boys all arrived in their own utes to the tune of "Boys from the Bush", displaying their prowess behind the wheel. I was certainly impressed and it set the tone for the start of the ceremony. Another first was me crying as Jordan's Aunts and Grandfather preceded her down the aisle, carrying her mother's photo. As a celebrant, we can't help but be caught up in the emotion of it all, but still need to remain as professional as we can be. Seeing the flower girl and ring boy certainly shook me out of that feeling and we got on with the business of making Mr and Mrs. Feel all the emotions on your day: cry, laugh, dance, revel in the moment.

13.01.2022 The 24hr social media amnesty is well and truly over so I may now post this pic of the new Mr and Mrs H - their ceremony was the best way to celebrate my 100th - there was laughter, love and tears - and a new marriage. 03.01.2022 This gorgeous arbour replaced the deck that is normally used at Tinaroo Lake Resort ceremonies. Made by the bride's brother from pallets, and decorated with flowers from @donnakattenberg, it looked gorgeous. And more importantly, it was safe to stand under. Beauty and safety combined to create an even more stunning backdrop for Mr and Mrs K yesterday.
