24.01.2022 A new year is here. Be it school, work, home or play, your computer will inevitably begin to feel slow all over again as technology improves everywhere else! NBN is rolling out to more and more suburbs and towns so as your download speeds improve, why is your computer still feeling like a slug?... Time for the most effective upgrade you can do! Ask me about High Speed Solid State drive upgrades for your desktop or laptop computer now. SSDs offer massive performance increases, at budget prices. The cost of this upgrade alone has become even more cost effective, so you can be booting up in less than 30 seconds and running tasks at full speed for a fraction of the price of a new computer. On even older machines, a modest upgrade to your RAM memory can make it even faster again. Get your computer or laptop model to me now for a quote to bring your PC up to today's standards, and see for yourself.

15.01.2022 I am still hearing a lot of requests for advice about "which laptop to buy to replace the old one?" I always recommend that you go to a large retailer with a big display - Harvey Norman, JBHiFi etc - and try the keyboards out yourself. It is easy to recommend a spec to look for, but most laptops are fairly similar in performance nowadays. You will be better off trying out the layout, the feel, the weight and the look of as many laptops as you can so you get one that you 'like...'. They will all do the job for you, so you might as well enjoy using it! On the same topic though.....does it really need replacing? Have a chat to me before you buy to see how much an upgrade and reformat would cost before you blow it on something new and shiny.....most customers are pleasantly surprised and very glad that they asked first. Steve

02.01.2022 Schools have some pretty high specs when it comes to laptops for Year 12 students, but not everyone can afford a new laptop that runs into the $1500 to $2000 mark. If you are not quite in a position to spend that much on something new, think about re-invigorating something you have already with an SSD (solid state drive) upgrade, a replacement battery and some more memory. This is like turbo charging the laptop! Way cheaper than a new laptop - and the speed increase has to b...e seen to be believed! I love the way my customers react when their old and trusty laptop starts-up and runs the way it was when it was new again. Ask me for a quote to get your older laptop updated and upgraded.
