25.01.2022 "...water's always an issue, but if you get it right with a farm design don't even worry about it..." Alexandra and Michael Hicks of #ExtraordinaryPork in th...is Regrarians Media interview with Lisa Jane Heenan this October at their farm in central western NSW. Alex and Michael have been clients of #Regrarians for the last 5 years and have had an extraordinary journey in a difficult landscape and off of a low financial base. By being fiscally disciplined and working smart (and hard !), they've developed a profitable #PasturedPig operation that's now proven to be #DroughtProof and have recently developed a certified on-farm abattoir to process their own pigs, cattle and sheep, further increasing their profitability and reducing animal stress significantly. #1Climate #6Buildings #9Economy #MobileAbattoir #RegrariansPlatform #REX Online Farm Planning Program https://youtu.be/PYZID5Dp71A

21.01.2022 We worked with Sean Murphy at ABC Landline to put this story together and we're so proud to be working with regenerative farmers like Moorlands Lamb and Extraor...dinary Pork and with chefs like Danielle Alvarez. Amid the dysfunctional and unsustainable intensive livestock industry, there are a growing number of inspiring farmers who are taking the long view, farming compassionately for the future and producing the most amazing food in the process. At the same time, we see a growing number of consumers who are no longer prepared to be infantilised and disempowered and who are choosing to inform themselves and support these regenerative producers. Seeing the commitment of both our customers and the producers we represent revitalises our faith that together we can fix the food system. Whether you are vegan, vegetarian or omnivore, DON'T STOP ASKING QUESTIONS ABOUT HOW YOUR FOOD IS PRODUCED AND DEMANDING ACCOUNTABILITY! https://www.abc.net.au//eco-premium:-regenerative/11643296
