24.01.2022 The Run Culture Owls are an elite distance running group based on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, Australia. Coached and mentored by Athletics Australia accredited level 1 and 2 recreational run coach; Dane Verwey, the group is full of a dozen athletes that completely and utterly adore all things running.... Established in 2019, the group is young but has big plans.

07.01.2022 Last weekend was one of the best in my life. I ran Oscar's Hut 2 Hut 100km ultramarathon with one of my best mates, Mark. The event is designed to push you outside your comfort zone and it certainly achieved its goal. Over the 100kms we faced brutal terrain, scorching heat, tight cut-offs, and 28 river crossing...which lead to a very high attrition rate. There were many times that I questioned if I had what it takes to finish. You're simply the best. Thanks to Mark for making the trek over from Hong Kong. It was one hell of a way to catch up after ten years! I'm looking forward to doing it again soon.
