23.01.2022 A new event for the Adelaide Auto Expo, in the Adelaide Hot Rod Show the guys and girls from the SA Rod & Custom Club are running the Repco Rocker Cover Racing Competition. It's open to anybody who wants to compete. Friday night is practice and grudge racing with the heats and finals on Saturday. Here's the rules and a photo of Lucy, don't let that cute smile fool you, she's a demon on the track.

16.01.2022 I’ve just had a very long meeting with the Adelaide Showgrounds and we have worked out a way to make the show happen this weekend. I’m waiting on some direction/approval from SAPOL & SA Health which I should hopefully have by Wednesday night. I will have to redesign the entire floorplan to include the Goyder Pavilion to meet the new social distancing requirements. I’ll let you know more news as it comes to hand. So please keep polishing those cars and bikes, we’re not beaten yet.

At this stage the answer is "YES" Like every other event organizer at the moment I'm monitoring what the Government policy is on public gatherings and I'll make a formal announcement as soon as I can. So for now, keep on building, modifying, polishing and enjoying your cool car or bike & fingers crossed I'll see you at this years show.

This car has quite a history, Mike sold the car many years ago & managed to only recently track it down & buy it back!

We had a big go at getting the event across the line for this weekend but at the end of the day people's health physically & mentally is more important.
