Barrels in Chrome Molybdenum Steel: The Chrome and Molybdenum added to the steel substantially improve its resistance to the wear generated by the incandescent ammunition especially to the first part of the rifling over that of traditional carbon steel. Long action with solid magazine or removable magazine on request for the model Rover 870 (chambered in medium to big calibers). The stock in techno polymer, i.e. nylon charged with fiberglass, features increased strength and it is less subject to breakage. It is ideal for extreme hunting.

20.01.2022 This weeks featured "Gun of the Week" #16 is none other than our Award Winning Revenant field gun, shown here in the 20 gauge configuration with 28" barrels. F...ine shotguns have always been the synthesis of art and function. Over the last 100 years some of the most iconic craftsmen have spent hundreds of hours hand sculpting steel, perfecting mechanical excellence and turning rare pieces of walnut into perfectly checkered stocks. Master engravers dedicate weeks of labor to turn polished metal surfaces of a shotgun into masterworks of art. The end result is the highest form of artistry and craftsmanship in firearm manufacturing. What if a company could use modern technology to make a shotgun that had the same qualities? That is the concept behind the new Revenant by Caesar Guerini. 03.01.2022 Responsible, legitimate shooters have again been unfairly and disgracefully targeted by the Andrews Labor Government. An email sent from the Licence & Regulati...on Division of Victoria Police to all licenced firearms stated a breach of the CHOs COVID-19 restrictions will cause them to have their licence suspended, cancelled or maybe subject to a reprimand which could harm any future licencing. Targeting licenced firearms holders in this manner is outrageous, discriminatory and unjustified. Victorian licenced firearm owners are highly regulated, vetted and law-abiding citizens. They value their licence, and this approach is nothing more than an overreach of political agenda. Today I caught up with Rick Foster from Morwell Field & Game to discuss the ongoing and unfair treatment of shooters. As a National Party MP this week I will be calling on the Minister for Police in State Parliament to rescind the directive and unreservedly apologise to law abiding shooters for again unjustly singling them out. 02.01.2022 Regional Victoria will be moving to the Third Step! What does this mean for Field & Game Australia Branches and members? This means a huge step in opening up Re...gional Victoria from the current lockdown. There will no longer be restrictions on reasons to leave home or distance you can travel. Can I go hunting? Yes you will be able to continue to go hunting and fishing. There will be maximum group sizes of 10. This will mean members and branches will be able to resume activities like fox drives, nest box programs and waterfowl counts. Can I go camping? Yes you will be able to go camping, again there will be restrictions on group sizes. Will Field & Game Aust. branches be open this weekend? At this stage it is unclear what FGA branches will and will not be able to do. While the current roadmap allows for outdoor non-contact sport to resume, they are subject to gathering and density limits. We are waiting for the sport and recreation roadmap to be released tomorrow with details on what these restrictions will be. Will we be able to resume Australian Simulated Field Competition? Again, at this stage we are unsure what the gathering and density limits will be, but we are extremely hopeful that Australian Simulated Field Competition will be able to resume.

02.01.2022 Victorian licensed firearms owners would now be aware of the recent threat by Victoria Police Licensing and Regulation Division (LRD) to reprimand, suspend or ...cancel licences of registered firearm owners who blatantly and deliberately breach the current directives of Victorias Chief Health Officer (CHO). SSAA Victoria considers this threat to be an overreach of powers granted to LRD. Be aware, it is no idle threat. SSAA Victoria is aware of LRDs suspension/ cancellation of licences of firearms owners who have received fines for breaching the current COVID-19 Stage 4 restrictions. SSAA Victoria has sought legal advice and is reviewing these cases to challenge this additional punishment. No other segment of society is facing additional punitive measures for breaching current COVID-19 restrictions. Yet again it would appear that legally licensed firearms owners are being singled out and being treated unfairly. SSAA Victoria questions the legal principle of LRDs threat and its implications for natural justice in Victoria. Why are the same standards and demands not made of Victorians in other sports or recreational pursuits? If any SSAA Victoria members have been threatened with losing their firearms licence as a result of breaching COVID-19 restrictions, the Association would encourage you to contact State Office. The Association is ready, willing and able to fight unjust treatment of shooters. While SSAA Victoria supports the directives issued by the CHO and the measures implemented to keep Victorians safe during this time, the Association believes the statement issued by LRD to be ill-considered. We also believe that LRD is acting beyond its authority and power in taking such actions. Only the SSAA Victoria has the standing and resources to challenge LRD all the way to the Supreme Court if necessary. To do so, we must work with the right instance of Police acting beyond their powers and in a way not contemplated by the Firearms Act 1996. Any challenge we undertake must be convincing to the court.
