25.01.2022 Came across this 6 metre whale shark yesterday while marlin fishing..certainly a once in a lifetime event for our customers onboard..

25.01.2022 Had our 1st encounter with a marlin today unfortunately we hooked him on a lure which didnt last long..water is already 23 degrees and bait levels were high!!!bring on the season!!

14.01.2022 With the tuna being a little quiet we decided to spend the day deep dropping the canyons..despite being sharked a few times we ended up with a pretty decent haul!!!!

13.01.2022 The aim of this year’s tournament is to support our business community which has been brought to its knees by the recent bushfires. Bermagui has only small bus...inesses based on tourism and fishing. The busy town you know has been a ghost town for the past fortnight -the peak trading time for the year. Thanks to our wonderful supporters we are able to offer a prize pool to competitors similar to past years, including $13,000 on offer for the heaviest marlin over 190kg!! We will also have raffle, auction and lucky angler draws. During our recent bushfire crisis, the Bermagui Country Club operated as an evacuation centre, housing displaced families who could not go home due to evacuation notifications or to those who had lost their homes. It was also used as the RFS Command Centre. As a result, during this time the Bermagui Country Club was unable to conduct normal trade and provided the food, drink and amenities to the general public at a significant cost to their business and finances. The committee and members of the Bermagui Big Game Anglers Club wished to donate our tournament profits to a local organisation, where 100% of the funds would go to the recipient and community. It was therefore, decided that in keeping with our aim, we would like to donate the profits from the tournament to the Bermagui Country Club. In order for us to be successful, we need your participation. So come and visit our wonderful town and community, and dig deep. Book you’re accomodation, come with #emptyeskies, purchase from our local businesses, bring cash for donation tins and help support our community club. Looking forward to a great weekend!!
