16.01.2022 Some really good advice here, before you go to grab your hydraulics have you done the simple, quick and effective methods for space creation. Right Way, First Time Joff

16.01.2022 Hi everyone, It has sure been a while, there has been a lot going on and with recent events the mind has been elsewhere so lets start by kicking it right back off with some feedback from the group. Given the current situation and limited training/calls what have you been reading to keep the mind and knowledge sharp in the extrication space?... "Right Way, First Time" Joff

06.01.2022 Well that’s a little different... Post your out of the norm extrications.

06.01.2022 Today the rescue world lost another great man. You meet people during your career for a reason, you exchange ideas and share knowledge. Neil Poulton was one of those people and I for one am richer for knowing him. I’ll always remember the conversations that led from this great learning symposium he presented in 2010. 05.01.2022 This is an interesting article where blame is put back onto the elderly drivers in our community. I can’t say in my time that any age group has really been the main contributing factor. I ask you this as rescuers do you take into consideration the following when deciding your extrication plan? -the age of the trapped or injured - mechanism of injury... -type of injuries sustained -location of the incident to a major trauma facility Do you ever adjust it to address some of the points above? Are the elderly really to blame or are we covering up other more pressing issues around extrication and trauma? Right way, First Time Joff
